- HBHarry Baer4 days ago5.0We spent 3 days at this hotel since our wood floors were being redone. We had a king suite, and it was really nice. Two TV's and plenty of room. The hotel itself had very friendly and helpful staff. The common rooms were perfectly clean. Breakfast was excellent with a wide array of food choices, including several hot dishes, and it changed from day to day. Coffee, tea, and water with fruit in it was available 24 hours a day. A very enjoyable stay!

Commuter rail train station right next to the hotel - 5 minute walk and your at the station and a train to take you into Philadelphia. Breakfast was included. The breakfast bar was very large as they have lots of rooms here. At least 2 meeting rooms, outdoor pool & gymnasium. For as big and busy as they are, this is in excellent shape & clean inside & out. Certainly would stay here again when I return to Philly!

I hope I am right in saying this but I feel like the employees are genuinely cared about because they reflect it back to the customers. We had several occasions where we started to ask a question and the employee jumped to solve our request or offered something even better before we could even finish our request. Every single person greeted us with a genuine smile/greeting. The breakfast is far superior to most hotels with little extra "chef" touches. I am a wheat-free, vegan and I never can eat anything other than the banana or apple and black coffee you get at most hotels, I had a variety of choices to chose from here, including vanilla almond milk for our coffee! The room was meticulously clean. Honestly, unless you need a concierge, you won't do better than this Holiday Inn Express.
