good variety for kids. The room is well equipped with everything you might need, and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend this place. The pool could be a bit warmer, and they could improve the organization regarding pool cleaning. The location is quite accessible, though a bit away from everything. Still, I definitely recommend it.

I was disappointed in my stay here. The hotel was not up to my standards for Cleanliness. The breakfast was a real let down. We were down there soon after it was open and it seemed like they just weren’t ready. The plates and cutlery were not clean. The coffee was down to the bottom, not fresh and not even warm. I will not stay at this location again.

Booked a king room and at check-in was downgraded to a queen room due to housekeeping issues. The room was dirty. The door to the outside of the stairwell would not shut properly. A lot of negative reviews lately and it seems like no changes are being made I was also charged $40 more than the invoice I was sent after checking out.

My wife & I are retired and we enjoy traveling. Due to our differing sleep patterns we always try to find hotel rooms that have a bedroom separated from the living area by a door. Home2 Suites by Hilton fits that requirement for us, in addition to always being very well maintained. That is until we stayed here at the Erie Home2 Suites by Hilton. This hotel started off on the wrong foot with us. Upon arrival the desk clerk and an older man behind the desk were having a personal discussion, and were fairly rude that we interrupted them so that we could check in to our room. Our first inkling into the state of disrepair in this hotel was our initial ride in the elevator. It was shake, rattle & roll the entire ride up to the fourth floor. Very unnerving. Upon entering out room there was a huge puddle of water on the floor in front of the refrigerator. Using paper towels to absorb the water, the white paper towels turned black from the filth on the hard surface flooring. As we were unpacking our luggage we were unable to watch TV because the batteries in the remote control were dead. I needed to send an email but the desk chair was so horribly stained & deteriorated that it was unusable, even with a towel over the top of it. Later in the evening when it was time for showers, the conditions in the bathroom were so appalling it actually made us laugh out of embarrassment for Hilton. See the attached photos. The floor of the shower has dirt/grime/black mold embedded into the shower pan, as well as a huge rust stain. And look at that horrible caulking repair in the corner that only goes up a few inches instead of the full height of the shower enclosure. Right outside the shower is the molding that was cut short 1” above the base cove, and the base cove is not caulked to the finish flooring. We noticed lots of moldings throughout our room and the hotel in general that need replacement because repairs are so shoddy as evidenced in the photos showing the deteriorated condition of the moldings and how their repair persons drip bright white caulking on the floor, and slop paint onto adjoining surfaces. Take a look at the unprofessional caulking job that was done around the toilet. My 4 year old grandchild could have done a better job than that. Apparently there was a problem with the bathroom door & lock. Instead of replacing the broken door and installing a new lock, the maintenance/repair person removed the door lock and stuck a paper towel into the opening. Last and foremost… in the category of you gotta see this to believe it, a mirror was installed on the bathroom wall that is so wide that it partially covers the electrical receptacles at both sides of the mirroir, rendering both receptacles unusable. See the photo below showing me holding the plug of Hilton’s provided hair blower against the receptacle. The mirror pushes the electrical plug of the hair dryer ½ way across the receptacle. As Ron White used to say in his comedy routines, “You can’t fix stupid”. Much more was wrong here, including front desk staff, but I'm limited to space by Google.
