I stayed at this hotel the weekend after Christmas and unfortunately had a very upsetting experience.
Upon arrival the bathroom was not properly cleaned. There was used soap left in the bathtub, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and sanitation.
However, the most troubling part of my stay occurred on Sunday morning during complimentary breakfast. Breakfast was clearly listed as being served until 10:30 am, both verbally and on a paper provided at check in. However, at 9:00 am, the employee working the breakfast shift began putting away the food and utensils. When I asked why she said there was "nothing left" and that her shift was over at 10 am. I explained to her that I was there to eat my complimentary breakfast as I paid $250 a night for my hotel room and that it was only 9:15 am and breakfast was supposed to be until 10:30. Her response was extremely rude and unprofessional. She then asked me and my husband " are you all from Staten Island?" which was completely inappropriate, irrelevant and felt like racial profiling especially since we were staying in PA. When I told her she was being rude and where i was from that nothing to do with her not doing her job she escalated the situation and threatened to call the police on me even though i was calm and simply asking for breakfast that was advertised as was other people that were staying at the hotel.
There was no manager on site. One had to be called at home and eventually arrived with her baby, apologised but the situation never should have occurred in the first place. Despite being harassed and made to feel uncomfortable no compensation or resolution was offered.
This experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. Cleanliness issues combined with staff behavior like this are unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here unless management makes serious improvements in staff training, professionalism and guest relations.

If I can give less than one star I would
We checked in here on Saturday called multiple times the next day , the third day as well for room service
They were rude and dismissive and then stated it would get done
We left the hotel at 6am and they promised it would get done . Only for us to get home at 9pm to the room the exact way we left it ! And with our 4 month old baby !
Absolutely nothing done
No towels!
The bed not done
This place is absolutely ridiculous and we will never

I typically don’t leave reviews, but if you’re looking for a convenient, relaxing stay I’d highly suggest NOT staying at this location. I stayed at this hotel from November 7th-9th and while I was willing to look past the risk of staying at a hotel with construction everywhere and stepping on nails because the rooms are kind of pretty, I am not willing to look past the fact that they have held my $200 incidental fee for a month at this point! Not only that, but the service to get a reply from a manager has been abysmal at best. Save yourself the trouble and find another hotel.

Booking a hotel block is an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. If you're having a wedding near by, don't even bother trying to book here. I've been reaching out since August 2025, it is now the end of November 2025 and I still haven't spoken to a single person that could book a block.
The hotel itself is really nice and the front desk staff is very friendly but they are not allowed to book blocks. You must call corporate and they tell you someone will reach out but they never do. Then, I tried to book through Zola and they couldn't even get in touch with anyone.
Staybridge is owned by IHG and managed by IPD. Staybridge tells me to call IHG, IHG connects me with IPD and IPD goes nowhere. Tonya avoids phone calls like it's her job. The Corporate office keeps hanging up on me when I'm on hold. No one else has reached out yet after 3 separate calls to corporate and leaving a request. Countless emails, phone calls, even texts; no returned calls. I even called Rick Norton, by accident, no answer.
Update: They responded to this review telling me to contact them. I tried to contact them and still no response one month later. This place is a joke.
