  My husband and I stayed here on 2/27 on our way to Myrtle Beach. Our room was clean and spacious. The only issue we had was the bathroom door. It was off the track but my husband fixed it. The front desk manager, Kim, was warm, caring, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! In fact, Kim is the reason we returned on the the way home (3/10). Instead of continuing on for a couple more hours we decided to stop just to show our appreciation to Kim. She is WONDERFUL. We ate at the restaurant on site and the marinara was made in house and was excellent. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Again, the bathroom door was an issue. This time it didn't stay closed. We crammed a dry washcloth into the gap to keep it shut while showering. No big deal. We will stay here again and it's all due to Kim. Thank you Ma'am. You made our vacation extra memorable!

  Enjoyed our visit at Holiday Inn Scranton East- Dunmore. This hotel is large and spacious. It has changed over the years and while it no longer has the water park, it is a great place to get a good nights sleep while traveling Interstate 81. We received a warm welcome and farewell by Corey upon our arrival and departure. We did not use the pool but did use the treadmills in the fitness room. Although we walked through the restaurant area, we did not use either. The area is spacious.

  Very clean and great customer service. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. She was very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. It was a great place to stay and I’ll definitely stay again

  I booked this hotel over a month in advance for my family visiting from a different state. This hotel was specifically booked for its pool and family atmosphere. Four days before checking in, I receive a notice that the pool will be closed for maintenance due to upgrades. At no point during the booking or when speaking to a representative at the hotel was this ever mentioned. Now similar holiday inns in the area have no vacancies. We have stayed at this particular hotel before, but we will not be returning. Absolute disgraceful!

  Thank you Jen, you helped us have an excellent stay. We have recently experienced a bed bug infestation from another hotel chain. Jen allowed us to come in and inspect the room before making the reservation and was understanding and kind. The hotel is large and inviting. We found the room to be clean and comfortable. We will use this location again.
