This is a very beautiful hotel, we stayed a couple years ago and were excited to return. However the experience was definitely not the same. To begin, our comforter had a stain that appeared to be blood, we were willing to overlook that oversight. It wasn't about the money as we used our many points, were on vacation and enjoy great ambiance. We travel with a 9 yo, one night we asked to heat some leftovers for him, we were told "we don't have a microwave" so you have a bar, and a restaurant but no microwave? Wow. So I used the hairdryer to heat up his food. In our years of extensive travel across the U.S. and Europe, that was a first. A couple nights into our stay we asked for a rollaway bed. We were told "we don't have rollaways". Not even 5-10 on property that were in use. Just zero. So between the staff that were not friendly or interested in even trying to be helpful, the $ 70.00 in parking fees for three days (Diamond members are supposed to get free parking), and the issues with small requests. We get the message, if you have children please don't come. We will stay at the Marriott around the corner.

We spent New Year's Eve here! The room was clean and had exceptional dining. However, our experience was affected by poor customer service regarding their New Year's Eve party. Despite the hotel's promotion and attempts to secure tickets, we learned the event was sold out upon arrival. The manager informed us there were no reserved spots for guests, which was disappointing given our significant spending of nearly $1,000. While it didn't ruin our night, the lack of prioritization for hotel guests left a negative impression. Offering reserved spots for hotel guests would’ve improved our experience.

Great location and backdrop for business or casual travel. We stayed while visiting family for Thanksgiving and had a positive experience. The beds were confortable, with plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was very nicely equipped. Staff were always friendly, albeit inconsistent with the cleaning, but we wouldn't hesitate to book here again. It was about a $37 Uber to Reading Terminal and the art museum, both are must-see during your stay.

Great Room & Amenities, but Housekeeping Needs Attention We stayed at the Westin in Conshohocken, PA, and overall had a really nice experience with a few frustrations worth mentioning. The positives: The room itself was great. spacious, and comfortable. The bar was super nice, and the Hook & Ladder restaurant (especially the patio area) was a standout. Great atmosphere, good drinks, and friendly service. The negatives: Housekeeping was honestly the biggest disappointment. Beds weren’t made, trash wasn’t taken out, and one day housekeeping didn’t show up at all. We were there for 7 days, and by Thanksgiving morning we were down to just one towel between us. Not ideal when you’re getting ready to see family. I also wasn’t a fan of the parking setup. The hotel shares a garage with another establishment, and every time you park you’re walking up a hill to get to the hotel doors. Not terrible, but definitely inconvenient especially with luggage. Final thoughts: The hotel itself is lovely and the amenities are great, but the housekeeping standards and parking situation were a real drawback. With better consistency from housekeeping, it would easily be a top-tier stay.
