  This gift shop was well stocked and clean, but more importantly, their staff was thoughtful and generous. When they learned I forgot my sheets for a stay nearby, they offered to provide us with some and refused the cash we tried to provide. I’d give them my business every day.

  It was a Sunday evening in the off season. I was staying nearby at an air bnb. I forgot my sheets for my queen bed. I stopped at the gift shop to see if by chance I could purchase some bedding. The only options available were dollar general and Walmart at a 30 minute distance. They provided me with a full set of bedding and refused the $20 offered for the trouble. This level of accommodation and neighborliness is a rare thing to find these days. I highly recommend this business and hope to stay there someday soon.

  We stayed in Cabin 5, this was a nice setting an a adequate sized cabin for a small family, we did however stay in January and the heat was far from adequate it had one gas wall heater which is clearly not enough to heat this cabin however it did have a wood burning stove, that was horrible and was not very safe it was more of an antique figure than functional heat source , (I’ve been heating my home with wood for 25 years) the wood supplied at a charge was not ideal or cheap, the kitchen was far from perfect but I mean there was a microwave and it’s a cabin, the shower is not fit for most but it gets you clean kinda, overall we had a good time but I don’t believe charging someone to try and heat there cabin is fair, a campfire I can understand, we may return but would definitely look around more first not here to bash this place my any means just leaving my honest review

  Upon arrival to celebrate our anniversary, we stopped by the Camp Store to check in. Right from the start, I got the feeling of a relaxing atmosphere. Soft Instrumental music playing in the background. Very well stocked store with EVERYTHING you would need. Next, our cabin is Cabin 6 and we absolutely love it. All the knotty pine gives it a great look and feel. The bedroom is beautiful. Well stocked kitchen to cook with as we plan to eat here the whole weekend. This camp is so quiet and relaxing as the cabins are spaced way far apart from the others and the Hot Tub is only a short 60 second walk away. Hominy Ridge has a lot of rules and guidelines but they have them in place for good reason. Be responsible with your cabin and treat it like it belongs to you and you and your family will have no problems staying here. We have 2 days to go but so far, as far as cleanliness, atmosphere, accommodations, etc. i, as well as my wife are very happy here!
