    Be careful with this hotel... really disappointed, I stayed in Candlewood Suite last Saturday 9 Nov 2025 and the deposit of $150 has not been refunded until today 17 Nov 2025. Sending email to them but no response, tried to contact and spoke with Julia receptionist and promised us to speak to manager and inform back to us , but still no clue or respond. We need the money before we back to Australia.... Unprofessional company, hold deposit too long. Unbelievable! Other hotels manage to refund deposits within 1-5 business days, what's going on with Candlewood ?! 🚨💸"

    Checked in 8pm Friday night after landing. Went straight to bed. Woke up the next morning to shower bathtub clogged and had to bathe in a pool of my own filth. Then tried to brush my teeth, same thing clogged, had bugs bite me throughout the night. Made a complaint to staff and they sent maintenance man up, who also verbally agreed that the room was unfit for them to check someone into. Which the front staff responded that that’s not her problem. I have the whole conversation recorded. Now refusing to give me a refund because after the nastiness and the remarks made by their own staff I did not remain there for the remainder of my stay. They’re saying they have a non refund policy. Which is absolutely unheard of. To provide poor service and a room unsafe conditions to a customer and still deny a refund is absolutely absurd. They’re claiming I did try to resolve the matter with them, which I’m not understanding. If a maintenance man was sent to my room to try & resolve the issue, what do you call that?

    I really enjoyed staying at the Candlewood Suites. The room was clean and neat. The service was excellent. Would stay there again while visiting Philadelphia pa.

    Kera is amazing she always does a great job and makes sure we have everything we need when we check in from towels to comforters or anything in general always a pleasant stay!
