A nice place to stay. The room smelled a little funky.. maybe a previous guest smoked in it and the smell hadn't quite gone away. But I got used to it eventually. The bed was comfortable enough but the window heater kept kicking on every half hour. Ear plugs solved that issue. Even though I'm pretty sure there were guests in adjoining rooms, I didn't hear a peep from them so the walls were well soundproofed. The water pressure was just ok. The fitness room had a couple treadmills and a stair climber, as well as free weights and even yoga balls. The complementary breakfast bar was adequate. The wifi was peppy. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area again.

I grew up in Pittsburgh and now live at the Jersey shore. I come to visit Pittsburgh a couple of times per year for family events, and I always stay at this hotel. I LUV this hotel! Why, you ask? Let me count the ways:
*The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, has great amenities, and the staff is completely AWESOME! The rooms are beautiful, large, well stocked, and spotlessly clean. The lobby has a lovely and large welcoming area with a roaring fireplace, couches, and tables/chairs. They have a very nice business area, where you use their computers and print things. There is a great indoor pool, which I swim laps in every time I go there-even in the winter! They serve a delicious full hot breakfast complementary every morning and they have a hot coffee & tea station available all day and night. Parking is always ample and easy. And now…my favorite part…the staff! In the daytime Christy is the front desk person and she is so friendly and caring-she is like your favorite relative that you can’t wait to see! In the evenings Carol runs the front desk and she is equally as brilliant, friendly, and caring! Then there’s Jacob… He was folding towels at the pool, he also does lots of other things at the hotel-and he is so totally dedicated and caring to everything he does! My housecleaning people have also always been incredibly nice and attentive. I designed the popular shoes called CROCS (just Google “Joseph John Brunetti CROCS”) so I know how vital great customer service is. The staff here is so off the charts great I actually hate to leave when my visits come to an end each time. Please thank Carol, Christy, and Jacob for me~and I can’t wait to visit there soon!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
