Step back in time to Old Bedford Village 19 miles West. Visit local Forts or dare to walk or bike the infamous Old Abandon Turnpike Tunnels in Breezewood. Flight 93 Memorial 42 miles is West or head to D.C. for lots of museums & monuments.
Need to stretch your legs or sit back and relax, we have options for you. 24 Fitness Center, large indoor heated pool & hot tub or if the weather is nice check out the Sidling Hill Picnic Area with lots of walking & driving trails through Sidling Hill Mountain in the Buchanan State Forest,a part of the Appalachian–Blue Ridge forests.

The receptionist Jenny was so kind and helpful figuring out a room for us so late. The breakfast was yummy, and the ladies working the dining room and the morning receptionist were all so kind and helpful as we had to figure out a way back home. The warm and friendly reception we received was the best part of our stay, but right up there with the service were the super comfortable beds and linens and newly remodeled bathrooms with all Dove products, which we love! If you’re roadtripping and need a comfortable place to stay with friendly staff, I definitely recommend! PS. The Starbucks across the highway is great too. There are no Ubers/Taxis/Rental cars as an FYI if your car breaks down, but the places to grab a bite and get some caffeine are solid.

There are renovations currently happening, but they have those areas blocked off beautifully so that it doesn't interfere with your stay. The staff were all very kind and helpful. I was booked in a recently renovated room, and it was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable, the room was spotless, and there was a full size hair dryer, soaps, body lotions, and shampoos/conditioners. One of the best parts was none of those old standard heaters by the window. You have a thermostat that you can control the heat and AC. There was also a full size ironing board and iron if you needed those items. They have an indoor pool as well, but I didn't utilize that during my stay. The breakfast choices were plentiful, and everything was really good. The staff were a great group. The room fee was reasonable, and this will be a place I will be staying at again.
