My wife and daughter stayed here 3/13/26-3/15/26 with her basketball team. Kids were all in the pool but not the adults and every kid developed a staff infection the next day. Covered in red dots, uncomfortable, ear infections, and eye styes. Stayed home from school, all on antibiotics. When we called the hotel directly we were told they drained the pool but did not offer any kind of refund. Corporate was also no help because the hotel is independently owned but they did say they contacted the hotel and noted they told corporate they did drain the pool and opened an insurance claim. 4 days later we called the hotel and they denied the pool was drained. I happened to be going back up to the area the following weekend with my son so I stopped in and sure enough there was a sign on the door of the pool that said “closed for maintenance”. They tried to tell me they just put salt in it that’s why. Drew the manager told me he couldn’t do anything but called upper management. His uncle (upper management) called him back and offered to meet with me later that day. He met with me and offered a half of a day refund and told me insurance would cover it. I told him that wasn’t sufficient enough given the seriousness of what happened and the run around they gave us. He said they had 92 rooms booked that weekend and we we’re the only 9 people who called to complain and didn’t believe the girls actually were sick. He was very dismissive and rude once I told him that wasn’t sufficient enough. He then told me “it’s a public pool, when you get in it you run the risk of bacteria”. I thought that was a ridiculous response. 9 little girls all developed staff infections from their negligence and lack of cleanliness in the pool. I hope no one staying there this weekend goes in the pool if they reopen it. Completely disgusted by the management response and lack of accountability. Avoid this place like the plague or in this case a staff infection .

We stayed here with our family for a basketball tournament 3/13/26-3/15/26. My daughter and her whole basketball team that stayed here picked up folliculitis (staph infection) from the indoor pool. Every child that used the pool is covered in the infection. After days of antibiotics and steroids, and she is still uncomfortable. The manager admitted to draining the pool due to the unsafe water levels. The management has not offered any compensation and is now saying they didn't drain the pool. This is a major health concern for anyone staying in this hotel. This raises serious concerns about pool maintenance, sanitation, and overall guest safety. Staph infections can persist on surfaces, and situations like this should be handled with transparency and urgency. The management is not able to upkeep this facility with the limited staff they have. Please be aware and do not let your children in the pool.
My stay at this hotel was absolutely
I had such a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. My room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with great amenities. The overall environment was peaceful and made my trip even more enjoyable. It’s clear that the hotel cares about its guests and takes pride in providing excellent service. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to friends and family! 😊
