- MTMaria TralongoOct 26, 20251.0After my room was moved because a large bedside table crashed to the ground at 1:30 am after it let loose from the wall, ripping the anchors out of the wall, my new room was less than wonderful. In order to meet my personal commitments, I had to travel back and forth to the hotel in the morning in order to move my room. I was delayed for one of my commitments and that made another person after that wait for me. I took photographs of both rooms - 309 and then 304. In the second room, the side table on the right side of the bed had issues. Considering my abrupt wake up because of the one that crashed to ground, I was not comfortable. The base was improperly seated. In the bathroom, a live outlet had an improperly seated cover exposing the bottom opening. Additionally, I believe code requires GFI plugs. This was not GFI and it was live. The shower base and wall need to just be seen. The towel hanger was barely on the wall. The thermostat and blower unit had a life of its own, changing temperature at will. Blowing hot and then cold, with absolutely no encouragement from me. Should I even mention the scary crack in the ceiling or the disaster that was the entryway to the hotel?

I gave it a three star review because it is my standard for hotels that don’t have the option to have continuous fan on in the A/C. This shows little regard to their guests rest. Intermittent fan activation can negatively affect sleep for many people. A fan turning on/off disrupts the consistent sound environment, which can jolt your brain out of deeper sleep stages. People who sleep best with white noise may wake or become more alert each time the fan cycles.
