I been in the hotel for 2 month due to some problems I have at my house. During this time, I can say:
Front Desk = Ms. Lakima is the best manager/ front desk customer service Representative that has this hotel.
She is very professional, educated, kind and helpful.
Also Alexis, she also great, professional and helpful.
The other ones I had really bad experience.
rooms are good and comfortable, I like the location, has laundry, they provide breakfast and mom-wed (Snacks/dinner)
The only thing I can complaint and this should be the most important housekeeping is the worse.
I have too much to say about the housekeeping services. housekeepers are very lazy, unprofessional and try to avoid their responsibilities with excuses.
When they do light cleaning (change garbage, sometimes do your bed if they are in the mood to do your bed, and sometimes provide u dish soap, kitchen rag )
they never clean the floor or sink if it’s visible dirty
Only when it’s full cleaning they clean the floor and change your bed sheets.
There are several times they don’t touch or change something that need to be clean or replace they just go inside and bring new towels and collect the old ones.
You have to request to change the shower curtain.
Housekeeping acts like they are doing you a favor and act like if they are the one paying for the essentials supplies that hotel should provide their guest.
For the money they charge per night I think they should be training housekeepers to do a better job or change the one they have to real/professional housekeepers.
Social night- mon -wed
The lady who cooks is very sweet, very kind.
Is nice to have a hotel that provide snack/dinner included.
Breakfast
Ladies are very kind and friendly, breakfast is good.
Coffee-24hr is a must.
We checked in for two nights on a Friday at 3 PM, and our room was ready. They provide a stove, dishes, cookware, and eating utensils. They have salt and pepper but any other oil/spices you'll have to bring on your own. They provided a thing of dishwashing powder along with dishwashing soap if you prefer to do your dishes by hand. The bed linens were clean and comfortable to sleep on. There are feather pillows on the beds, so call ahead if that's problematic for you.
Hand soap, lotion, body wash, shampoo and conditioner were well stocked. Microwave is easy to use. There is a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee or filters were provided. However, in the lobby, they have a giant coffee maker that will brew you a fresh cup whenever you want. Here's the one and only minor complaint I have. During the breakfast times, which are like 7 am - 10 am (I could be remembering wrong, so don't quote me on this), the coffee machine causes serious backups. There's two of them, and it takes like a minute or two to brew a fresh cup of coffee. Now imagine each person taking that long, while still sleepy and not caffeinated, and you'll mentally experience the AM mess of getting a cup of coffee. Aside from that, the breakfast had decent choices. If you're vegan like me, swing by the Aldi that's nearby and grab yourself some almond milk or something, and you'll be fine. They have individual packets of oatmeal that you can take up to your room and top with the various fruits and other things they had there. They also had a pot of oatmeal for you to take if you wish. They had waffles, and a bunch of hot items too. Juice, soda, and tea were also on offer.
We had no problems sleeping, as the rooms were quiet, and the other guests were pretty nice too. They didn't make a lot of noise when in the hallways. That said, the rooms are WAY bigger than I thought they'd be. The bedroom is a full on separate room. The kitchen area is comfortable to work in. The living room has a giant TV and a couch. The bathroom is inside of the bedroom, so probably you don't necessarily want to stay in that room with strangers, because they'd have to pass through the bedroom to get to the bathroom.
It's convenient to a TON of shopping, restaurants, and other such things.
The other minor annoyance was that the wifi was a bit of a hot mess. When we travel, we bring our own Apple TV with us, so that we can be logged into whatever accounts we want to watch. This obviously requires a decent wifi connection. The TV's have cable, but no other "smart" features, as they're not connected to the Internet for whatever reason. There are 2 ethernet ports in the room, but they are dead, so don't bother trying to plug into them. Every 3 - 5 minutes, the Apple TV would drop the wifi connection. I know it's not my Apple TV, because once I tethered it with my phone, it worked just fine. If you're going to be doing heavy duty Internet stuff for work, this might be problematic unless you have alternative internet from tethering with your phone or hotspot.
