My family and I had a wonderful experience staying here. The rooms were clean and the staff was great. We enjoyed the pool. We look forward to staying here again especially when Downey park opens. This place is almost close enough to walk there.

Housekeeping manager is nasty. Stayed the day of the snow and the whole housekeeping crew stayed there and were drinking with the manager and had a party in a room. I was not able to sleep. Manager was talking about GM getting divorced and his life with his wife. Housekeeping manager is not professional at all.

This is consistently a great property. It's clean, welcoming, and the best sign of all: staff turnover is low. To date, we must have stayed here a half-dozen times. Tucked away from the highway, the hotel is close to Dorney Park as well as restaurants and shopping. The rooms are always clean and the place is quiet. They have a solid fitness center and the pool is always clean and welcoming. Where they have a great breakfast in the morning (not free for guests) they have a bar with a happy hour in the evening along with good bar food. Rebecca is an amazing bartender and she makes stellar cosmos, martinis, and mojitos. And she may even share some history regarding your favorite adult beverage. (I have a whole new appreciation for martinis, thanks to her.) Check-in and check-out is always easy and the entire staff is always helpful. We look forward to returning in the future.

🚩 This was hands down the WORST hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. I stayed at the Holiday Inn Allentown–Bethlehem by IHG for 3 nights, January 23–26, 2026, and it was a complete nightmare from start to finish. For a 3-star IHG property, I expected at least basic standards of cleanliness and hospitality. What I got was far below basic. After being first placed in a loud room directly off the lobby with the main entrance bright lights shining in, I was forced to switch rooms and downgrade my king sized bed to two queen beds just to get some peace and quiet. The next room was absolutely disgusting. When I arrived in the new room, I couldn’t believe it. The bathroom towels had yellow stains, human pubic hair, and long strands of hair all over them. Absolutely disgusting. I went to use the phone to call the front desk and request fresh linen to be brought to my room. The phone did not work. All the extensions rerouted to a generic holiday inn number!?? Completely useless. So I had to walk back downstairs from room 408 to get them. Returning to the room, I was exhausted from my flight/travel day and just wanted to sleep. Well, I went to check the bed, (as I always do), guess what was seen? The bed sheets were all wrinkled as if someone else just slept in them and housekeeping did not change over the sheets! Sure enough, taking a closer look, I discovered more human hair on the pillow cases! YUCK!! So, I’m thinking the bathroom towels were never changed and the bed sheets were never changed. Instead they were simply re-folded and bed just made up with same sheets from prior guest. It was shocking and revolting. The bathroom also had moldy residue like it’s been sitting since the last time someone showered making it obvious housekeeping skipped basic cleaning entirely. Breakfast wasn’t even included ($12.95), fine. Yet the yogurt being served was over a week expired. Made me wonder what other food and beverage I just ate expired? This property should be embarrassed to carry the IHG name. If you value cleanliness, comfort, or basic hospitality, stay somewhere else.
