I would like to say that this trip was one of the best experiences for both me and my girlfriend. It was a ski trip to Blue Mountain resort from February 6th through February 9th. Overall, the entire experience was positive. Regarding our stay at the hotel, I must especially commend the staff — particularly the manager Ms. Kim — who was truly phenomenal. Our stay coincided with a severe winter storm that caused power outages in parts of Allentown, including the hotel. The situation was understandably hectic. The outage led to multiple operational issues: room key cards malfunctioned, heating systems failed, phones were down, and essential services were disrupted. It was chaotic, and I am certain there was tremendous pressure and stress on the staff, especially on the manager. As a surgeon, I am no stranger to high-stress situations when critical systems fail in an operating room. I can confidently say that the situation at the hotel was handled as professionally and effectively as it possibly could have been under the circumstances. If I may offer a few suggestions to regional management should a similar situation arise in the future: implementing an alternative heating solution for staff — even temporary portable heaters for the lobby area — would make a significant difference. I observed staff members seated in a very cold reception area, continuing to assist guests despite the discomfort. A modest source of warmth would greatly support them during such emergencies. While I understand that backup generators are typically prioritized for hospitals and critical infrastructure, a small portable generator to provide minimal lighting in stairwells and near exit signs would not only be helpful but essential for safety and injury prevention. Additionally, assigning a staff member to guide guests with flashlights during outages could further enhance safety. We are sincerely grateful to the entire staff, and especially to the manager, for handling such a challenging situation with professionalism and composure.

From the moment I checked in, the front desk incorrectly told me that breakfast was an additional charge. I had to inform them that my package included breakfast, which they only acknowledged after checking my reservation. During breakfast service, I made it clear to the staff that I was from room ### and that breakfast was included in my package. Despite this, after my stay, my credit card was charged extra. When I called to ask about the charge, I was told it was for breakfast. Once again, I had to explain that breakfast was included in my package. Only then did the staff review my reservation and issue a refund. I used to like stayed at Hilton everywhere, but now I really dissapointed.

I was in the hospital and couldn’t make my trip and I requested the free cancellation but no one would respond to me for days. Called multiple times and left multiple emails. I finally got ahold of someone days later just to be talked with attitude and disrespect then I was hung up on. Unbelievable
