  Every single individual we encountered went out of their way to be friendly and courteous. It’s decorated in a cozy log cabin motif. The continental breakfast was full and tasty - loved the omelet with the works. Hotel was in a quiet location, and we slept well. The hotel did have some glitches. The magnetic stripe key card system did not work well at all - it usually took 10-20 swipes before our two keys would unlock doors. We couldn’t find any trick or technique to make them work consistently. We were never locked out, but after you’ve swiped your card more than 10 times, you really do wonder if you might be. This was the biggest frustration as it felt like we could find ourselves locked out our room and the hotel at any time, even though we’d paid and (technically) had keys - this would seem to be more of a problem if you have to enter your room or the hotel after hours. Our room had a safe in the closet, but the safe was locked, and the battery appeared to be dead - it could not be used and was only decorative. The fitness room was small but had decent equipment. The one downside was no treadmill - it had a handwritten piece of notebook paper on it that said it was out of order, and when it was plugged in, it displayed an E17 error - it did not work. The TV in the fitness center seemed to lock up and freeze every time more than 20 channels were turned, so it had to be turned off and then on again to reset the TV to working order. The fitness room had towels, but it would be nice if some spray and paper towels were provided so that the equipment could be sanitized before and after use (helpful when strangers may be sweating on the same piece of equipment, and in a room seemingly without good ventilation). Sealed bottles of water were thoughtfully set out for hydration. This location had a business center on the second level with computers and a printer, but the room did not have a printer that could print directly from a thumb drive. When we. visited, kids’ breakfast pancakes were served in a shape that was especially entertaining for children. The front desk helpfully offered more grown-up options for older children. All in all, a nice and pleasant stay. Thank you, Best Western Sutherlin!

  I traveled to the area to see a concert and found my stay here to be wonderful! The motel was beautiful and peaceful and improved my little vacation so much!

  We stay here several times a year. This time (03/28/26), the pool was in the 60s and the pool hours were incorrect, apparently they change for the weekend. Breakfast is always wonderful, the rooms are well equipped. We had toilet issues and key problems but they were fixed quickly.

  Rolled in at 2:30 AM to fantastic service at the front desk. Plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from in a hospital, clean lobby. Breakfast in the morning includes me to order eggs and pancakes with a buffet. So many nice folks who keep this running daily. Definitely on my list of places to stop.

  4+ stars. There were a couple of things in my room that needed attended to, easy for a busy housekeeping staff to miss. But being an ex Army training NCO I notice everything. As simple as needing a light bulb replaced and someone had unplugged the alarm clock under the bed. (could have been the day before..who knows). Very insignificant and went out for an hour and when I got back it was taken care of. If nobody else let them know is was an easy miss. These are good people that were very pleasant and easy to deal with. Room, lobby, restaurant were very clean. There was ample breakfast (better than my usual La Quinta) and a chef that will cooks eggs and omelettes to order within minutes. The chef, Sergio is a very nice guy and is very helpful. They should give that man a raise. The only issue I had and it has nothing to do with the hotel, the street going to the hotel is very easy to miss if you've never been there. I will go back next time without hesitation.
