My stay at this hotel was far below what I expect from a Hilton‑branded property. From the moment I checked in, things felt off. The front desk staff seemed distracted and rushed, barely acknowledging guests and offering no real welcome. Even simple requests—like getting extra towels or asking about nearby dining—felt like an inconvenience to them. It set the tone for the rest of the stay.
The room itself looked fine at first glance, but the longer I was in it, the more issues showed up. The furniture felt worn and outdated, with scratches and stains that made the space feel neglected. There was a strange smell in the room that never went away, even after running the fan for hours. Corners and surfaces had dust, and the bathroom didn’t feel fully clean—especially the shower, which had visible buildup that should’ve been addressed long before I arrived.
Noise was another major problem. The walls were so thin that I could hear conversations, TVs, and doors slamming late into the night. It made it almost impossible to get a good night’s sleep. The HVAC system didn’t help either—it was loud, inconsistent, and kept cycling on and off in a way that made the room uncomfortable.
Breakfast was equally disappointing. For the price, I expected something fresh and well‑managed, but the food felt like it had been sitting out too long, and the service was slow even though the dining area wasn’t busy. It didn’t feel like anyone was paying attention to quality or guest experience.
Overall, the hotel felt understaffed, under‑maintained, and overpriced for what it offers. There are plenty of other options in the Eugene/Springfield area, and after this stay, I’d strongly recommend choosing one of them instead.

First, they wanted $10 to park. I have never been asked to pay to park at a hotel I'm staying at. Second, Continental breakfast costs an additional $14. Third, the view from our room was literally an air unit on the roof (see photo). I've had better amenities at the hospital than this Hilton offered.

It’s very comfortable and nice; however, the elevator is extremely slow. (I understand it’s unavoidable for safety reasons, but I still wish it were a bit faster.)
