  I have been travelling for the past few days. This hotel beats my expectation . We had a suite ( 1 king and 1 queen . It was spacious and clean . Nice layout with a private room/it was like having 2 rooms . The sink is not in the bathroom which works great for us - you can brush your teeth hwhile someone is taking a shower. The water pressure was PERFECT! Water stayed warm and could go as hot as I wanted - loved it ! No smell whatsoever and nice customer service . Did not try but they even had a charging station !

  My adult son and I stayed here for 2 nights and had no complaints! The Wi-Fi was strong, the food was good and the employees were very kind and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again. The close proximity to Target was a huge plus when it came time to purchase something we had forgotten to back.

  Well bless my heart, if this wasn’t one of the most delightful stays I’ve had in a long while! My time at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Portland - Jantzen Beach was nothing short of a true Southern comfort experience—even all the way out here in the Pacific Northwest. After a long day of hiking those beautiful mountain trails, this tuckered-out, law-abiding cowgirl from Oklahoma was in desperate need of a cozy place to land… and y’all, General Manager Patrick came to my rescue like an absolute gentleman. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made me feel right at home from the moment I walked through those doors. The hotel itself is just as lovely as the people running it. You’ve got a warm and inviting indoor pool, a relaxing hot tub to soak your weary bones, and the cleanest bathrooms stocked with those comforting Dove products (which this gal surely appreciated after a day outdoors!). The parking is free, well-lit, and secure—something I always look for when traveling. This is a well-maintained IHG property that truly takes pride in its service and hospitality. Everything felt safe, clean, and thoughtfully cared for. I absolutely recommend a stay here—whether you’re passing through or planning a visit. If you’re lucky enough to be greeted by Patrick, you’ll understand exactly what I mean when I say this place has heart.
