Decent 2 star hotel. Was pricey ($160) for us as we booked last moment.
Rooms and bathrooms were clean, but would consider bit outdated decor. Had a study table with 2 chairs in our 2 queen bed room. Front door has weird insert card, swipe down and up gesture to open the door. Had to request front door help (and she was kind enough to come to the room and show). Air conditioning was noisy though.
Free breakfast and pool (and spa).
Free parking lot for downtown is a plus.

Stayed there for 3 nights this past week and I will be returning. Rooms were clean, every staff member I met was very nice. Breakfast was good, hot tub and pool were perfect temps. Location is great for walking to many different resteraunts, its a short drive to anywhere else you want to go, and their parking is free! They also had some remodeling going on while we were there but only during the day and the workers kept it pretty quiet.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Having worked at a higher end ihg property I was amazed at how great this experience was and how affordable their rates are. Seriously. The property I worked at charged way more and didn’t have nearly as many amenities. I greatly appreciate it. Not to mention all of the staff is polite. My room is quiet. Not much of a view but I’m not bothered by that. They have all dove products in the bathroom that smell really good haha I will be staying here again the next time I’m in portland. And the area may seem sketchy off looks (seems to possibly be an industrial area) but if you’re from a big city it’s fine. I walked around at night just to stretch my legs and get some fresh air and seen nothing out of the ordinary. There was some minor maintenance being done in the morning but they weren’t loud and it was about 10 or 11am when I heard them working and I only heard them because I had paused the video I was watching. I would recommend this place for sure. Thanks for making my trip a pleasant one, PDX Holiday Inn!

Good location and nice view of one of the bridges from the rooms. Parking up top is free, but on a busy weekend can fill up. Parking below costs a little money, but has space. Beds were comfortable. Two sets of pillows with one being more fluffy and one more hard. Shower pressure was weak, so pretty bummed about that. The blackout curtains in the room worked excellent to block the city lights at night. Staff was friendly and breakfast was really good.
