I loved staying here. I wish that the Hilton corporate culture didn’t value ICE more than the American people and our democracy but so it goes. I will never return to a single property of Hilton’s. Besides I LOVE Marriot.

Pretty good rate for the heart of Downtown Portland. I had an issue with the shower plug not working which was inconvenient because I was in town for a race and hoping to freshen up the ol'stickz with an Epsom salt bath. I decided to cut my losses after submitting a service request .... but then the Engineering service tech came banging on the door at about 10:30 PM after we had gone to bed, which seemed a bit unorthodox and definitely corrupted my circadian rhythm !!!! :O Also the concessions in the lobby are ridiculously overpriced (which is to be expected). The bar was nice though. 4/5 would stay again

Superb hotel location near Pioneer Plaza. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Large lobby with places to sit and relax. Hotel is near a public transportation hub. Access from Airport was easy using light rail, with a stop a block away. Hotel facilities are excellent. Comfortable, well-equipped rooms with superb bedding and mattress. Bathroom is well-appointed with wonderful towels and other amenities. Hotel restaurant is a good option if you want a quick meal or some drinks. The neighborhood has many more locations for eating too. Lots of coffee shops nearby. Definitely would return next time I am in Portland for business.

We had some issues in the room because the bathtub wouldn’t drain properly. When we went to breakfast, the service was friendly, but they clearly need more staff since there was only one server and one chef, and they couldn’t keep up with the number of guests waiting. The whole situation felt uncomfortable, but despite that, both the chef and the server were super kind the entire time, and we were very patient. The lobby decoration was very beautiful. If they improve these details, everything would be excellent.

The room was clean overall; however, on the day of my check-in I was assigned to Room 419. I am not sure whether the noise came from the indoor or outdoor air-conditioning unit, but it was extremely loud and made it almost impossible for me to fall asleep. The hotel’s location is excellent, with many shops within walking distance. However, the self-parking access is very narrow. I was driving a large SUV and had to be extremely careful when entering and exiting, and there were many visible scrape marks on the walls on both sides.
