Let me just lead with the amazing staff- Christine at the front desk welcomed us for my birthday staycation (Portland locals). She upgraded our room, recommended nearby restaurants, and while we were out set up balloons and cake in our room. I can't say enough about how friendly and welcoming she was. The other front desk staff we interacted with over the weekend were just as helpful. Second to the staff is the location- no better place to hang out for walkable access to activities and food. Last, the room we were upgraded to was a king mini suite with city views. It wasn't super high - 8th floor- but the skyline and cityscape were lovely to wake up to. Highly recommend.

when i checked in to my room, the staff asked me for the reason of my stay. i told them that my mom had passed away. the people at the desk gave me their condolences. during my stay, they unexpectedly delivered a care package to my room with sweet treats and a heartfelt card! very thoughtful people and it was greatly appreciated. i will be staying here again during any future trips to portland. thank you! 🤍

The room was clean and staff are nice. With that being said all the surrounding area around the hotel is in really poor shape. There was poop, broken glass, toilet paper and all kinds of bio hazards all up and down the streets. It was absolutely disgusting. Instant loss of appetite and we checked out early it was too much to handle. Unsafe

This Hampton Inn & Suites location in the Pearl District exceeded expectations.
Daniel and Brandon consistently checked in via text and were quick to help with questions throughout my stay. Alona greeted me every morning with a smile and infectious positive energy, the kind of service that stays with you. The valet team was equally impressive, and Alex ☺️, the lead, summed it up perfectly when he said that good leadership means taking care of your soldiers. That mindset was evident across the entire staff.
My room was clean and comfortable, and although I didn’t have the chance to enjoy breakfast, the service alone reflected the quality Hampton Inn is known for. A welcoming, well-run hotel with a team that truly cares.
