My husband is a Hilton silver member and he uses Hilton for work all the time. We went to a concert at the Moda center and decided to stay the night over driving back after. He go his electronic key and we went to the room listed. It let us up the elevator but not in the room. A trim back down to the front desk. They card my husband and issue him a standard card to open the door. Back up to the 15th floor and the key works. His first stop is the bathroom and he finds dirty towels on the floor and a dirty toilet. Makes comments and asks me to check the bed. When I do I find a woman in the room. They issued us keys to an occupied room. Back down to the front desk when they reissued room keys to a new room. Offering points a compensation for the mix up. I’m sorry but point didn’t cut a mixup like this. A discount on the room would have been more meaningful. Once we made it to the new room and turned on the heat the furnace was so load it sounded like an unmuffled car in the room with the intake registers in the bathroom rattling while it was running. They comped breakfast but our schedule required we leave before it started. All efforts to make it right seemed to fall short.

We stay here when we go to events at the Moda Center. It’s a short Uber ride to the events. The rooms are extremely spacious. The restaurant is clean and offers a variety of delicious food. The bar area is comfortable and the staff is amazing. This is one of our favorite hotels in Portland. Affordable, clean, well appointed and great location!
