- SHStephanie H3 days ago3.0The bathroom was gross. Brown/red stains on door, stained ceiling. There was an old used bar of soap left in the shower. Body wash wall attachment was ripped off with old glue left behind. We showered in flip flops. Beds were clean at least. Corner of the room smelled like dog urine. Great location, but the quality of the hotel room for the price was very disappointing. Will not stay again.

Joshua and all of the staff were very kind and accommodating, letting us gather and watch the football games. We travel with our two Golden Retrievers and the hotel is very good for pets, with close beach access and plenty of pet friendly rooms. We will be back again next year!

We didn't fuss or insist they do anything THEY Initiated Corrective action. Well done. Looking forward to returning. The wave theme is nicely carried throughout the facility. It would be nice to have a barbell in the workout room.

The ocean-view room is definitely worth the upgrade—being able to both see and hear the waves from the room is a real treat. The room was spacious and never felt cramped, with plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The supplied shampoo and toiletries were very nice, with a pleasant citrus (orange) fragrance that wasn’t overwhelming. The Christmas decorations in the lobby were fun to look at and really added to the festive holiday atmosphere. A must-visit nearby is the BLM-managed lighthouse and beach. The sound of the waves lifting and dropping rocks is something you’ll remember for a long time—an amazing reminder of the power of the surf. Be sure to bring your National Parks pass
