  Had a wonderful 70th birthday on the beach. Great views, beach walks and spectacular sunsets. Caravan Shuttle Service was awful and makes fun of seniors so it would be nice if the hotel offered shuttle service to and from Portland airport.

  One of the best overnight stays in a long time. Every staff member welcomed us with kindness and great service. Kym who checked us in set the tone. This hotel is beautiful, very clean, and in a great location. Warm pool! Steps to a beautiful beach. Yaquina Head shines in the distance. Perfect. We will be back. Our new favorite Newport Hotel.

  Imagine our surprise when the front desk staff informed my husband and I that breakfast AND dinner were severed with our stay! I remarked how incredible that it was, and that I had never heard of a motel serving dinner as well as breakfast. The excitement of saving so much money on food costs was short lived when after eating dinner, we were chased down and told that dinner WAS NOT complementary. Not only that, but that there was not even a complimentary breakfast whatsoever! I feel like we were tricked into eating at the restaurant. I would NEVER have chosen to eat at the same place we were staying, as we only had 4 precious days to explore! Instead, we waisted one dinner staring at a wall! Needless to say, this was really upsetting and stressful. The manager did refund our meal on the last day and he was fantastic, but I can't get the time back! The rooms were very expensive for breakfast not to be included, and the pool is incredibly small. I would like to come back; it is a beautiful hotel. But I think I will research better next time!

  Try the restaurant for breakfast.Small portions and not very tasty.I was surprised it sounded really good but it was just so so, something I could cook at home and\nThey don't even have homemade jam.Just those little packaged things. I finished breakfast, still hungry.Small omelette not very much inside

  We have stayed in many places in Newport and we found this is to be the best! The furnishing and décor are top rate- with beautiful abstract artwork, very comfortable beds, linen wallpaper in room & bath, new (huge screen TV). Top floor now has non pet rooms with fantastic views at the south end. General manager is very friendly & went out of his way to assist us with an electronic device to connect with our TV. We will be back.
