- TWTodd Winkel3 days ago1.0Dishonesty at its finest. Be prepared to not get what you were expecting. Called ahead of time to verify presence of a hot tub. Got the typical hilton run around and finally was given the number to the place we were staying directly. Called them and asked if there was a functional hot tub and was told "yes," Got down to Medford and asked about the hot tub and was then told they don't have one. Evidently Hilton switchboard gave me the number for the Hilton garden inn next door to the hilton suites we were staying in. So, since we booked wanting a hot tub and both properties are owned by the same people, I asked for permission to use the hot tub at the other hilton hotel literally 2 minute walk away. Desk clerk said they can't allow permission but due to switchboard giving me the wrong info he would check in on it. He came back and told me the hot tub next door was closed for maintenance. So I got my room key and went to my room and called the hotel next door to ask about the hot tub - they said it was working fine for tonight and tomorrow. So I called back to the front desk and informed him that he was wrong or not telling the truth, and I would appreciate it if we could use the hot tub for the one night we are here. He said he would check and then got back to me to say that he could not allow it due to liability issues (even though both hotels are covered by the same insurance company). In short - this hotel seems to like to find it ok to lie to their guests. I don't appreciate dishonesty especially when I am paying money based on what I have been told. Will not stay here again - and if you stay here, don't believe what they tell you when you make a reservation.
- MMMichelle3 days ago5.0Just stayed one night here and I loved the room and breakfast so much I DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. I have no reason to be up here again anytime soon but I thought this hotel was just so nice, I would consider coming up to stay just knowing I would love it. I have stayed at plenty of Hiltons (they are my preference) but this particular hotel was better than most. The room was well laid out, quiet, plenty of windows for nice natural light in morning, full kitchen which really came in handy even though I hadn't planned on using it, and the breakfast was better than any other hotel I've ever stayed at. The only nitpicky thing I will add is that the shower doors were oddly old/cheap glass that felt like they'd break sooner than later and completely didn't fit with the rest of the nice and new-ish room. Great coffee too (I wake up early and really appreciate when I can get a decent cup while half asleep). General comment: why don't hotels use dimmer switches - ever? The lights are always so bright I feel like I could be operating on someone. Considering that most people when traveling tend to be more tired than not, bright light sucks. So Hilton - if you're listening - do the world a favor and add dimmer switches and I guarantee you, people will love it and be more likely to stay.

Giving 4 out of 5 due to bed being uncomfortable to me and that when I arrived at 6pm, there was a french fry on the carpet in the elevator. When I left for my flight 12 hours later, it was still there.
