The arrival and departure staff did a good job but I was assigned a room due to a late check-in. Around 9 pm we arrived at the property which is not exactly in a great part of town. Parking is limited and poor lighting. We checked in and proceeded to get settled. We noticed after we turned on all the lights in room that the carpet was severely stained and worn. In addition the bathroom was not properly cleaned with a big callout being that there were pubic hairs all the over bathtub. So we had no options but to stay since the hotel was booked and so was the other Hilton property in town. I had an early business but would contact Hilton customer service after that. Hilton customer service representative was GREAT but the general manager said that she would not give us any credit since she was not made aware of the issue. What was she going to do deep clean our room at 10PM? Try and find us another room in her dirty hotel. So we slept in our clothes as GOLD members for almost $200. Stay at the HGI not here.

This place is great, super friendly staff and extremely clean. The breakfast in the morning is fantastic and a really nice view from the window. I cant wait to come back here and enjoy another resting weekend. Great first impression of Oregon to say the least.

Honestly the best experience since Hampton Inn in Trabazon, Turkey. I called several times because I would be arriving around 3 or 4am and didn't want them to give my room away. I spoke to Tim who said he would be looking out for me. I never expected him to meet me at the doors, opening the door immediately and making my check in as smooth as possible. He offered a to go bag in case I couldn't make it to breakfast. Unfortunately I couldn't fall asleep thinking I would miss it. I went back down and the lady at the kitchen was amazing. Greeting everyone that came down to breakfast. I took my breakfast upstairs but really appreciated their hospitality. The location is alot better than I expected as well, not sure why it is a low star rating. The quality of the brand was all there and a little more.

When we came to check in at close to 4:00, our room was still not ready. Their credit card authorization machine was not working due to a technical error and a link had to be sent for us us to put our card on file. I'm not going to my it did make me a little nervous but it all worked out in the end. The staff member on duty at the time was very apologetic and super nice about the whole situation. The location of our room on the second floor was fantastic and I absolutely love the fact that we are at the very end of the hallway. Morning Breakfast was decent and not too bad at all and each time we came down to the lobby area we were met with a greeting and a smile. When we come back to Medford I definitely have no problem booking this hotel again. The location to everything was fantastic as was the entire team.
