A gem of a deal when visiting Portland. Just about 10-15 minutes south of downtown, this location was perfect for us spending a few days in the city. The short distance was well worth it to avoid the exorbitant downtown parking fees alone (they are $10/day here). But the hotel also does a great job to stand on its own: safe and lush location just off the interstate, nearby local and chain restaurants, and friendly staff w/ breakfast, bar, and pantry (drinks, snacks, and portland souvenirs). We got a north facing view and I enjoyed it, out your window are beautiful trees and some decorated buildings. There's a pool and gym we didn't use, but a plus for sure. Overall very happy with our stay and will absolutely book again.

This is really just about the bar. GREAT cocktails from an unexpectedly awesome hotel bar.

While staying with them, I had asked for breakfast counter. They somehow assumed I was part of some travel group and sent me to the wrong breakfast area with very few/poor options. Need to be careful of their assumptions. Given breakfast was the only included food service - this was a major letdown for me
