  My very pregnant daughter and I came over from Bend to shop and the people at this hotel were so incredibly nice! They let us have an early check-in just in case my daughter needed to rest! The beds were so comfy. We will definitely be back! ❤️❤️❤️

  We just stayed at the Best Western in Keizer, OR. At 10:20pm, we returned to our room after attending my son’s college baseball games and taking him out to dinner. There were ants all over the counter with the coffee maker, along the front of that cabinet and along the floor in that area. We called front desk and she brought us spic and span spray and a towel. She was going to make us spray them, but then she finally did it. Only in that one area. She said that we probably left food in the room, and that is why we had ants. (We only brought in suitcases when we checked in. We didn’t have any food with us.) She said that the hotel was full and she couldn’t change us rooms, but to speak to manager in the morning. We didn’t get much sleep as we were concerned about the ants being elsewhere in the room, including our bed. And sure enough, the next morning there were some on the counter with the alarm clock, which was very close to our heads, and more in the area she previously sprayed. Gross!!!! We talked to the manager, and she promised us she would talk to the owner and get back to us within 2 hours. After not hearing back for 9 hours, I called the hotel and the call went to voicemail. I called again 12 hours later and the manager relayed that the owner said there was nothing he could do for us. He said that since the hotel was by an orchard, he couldn’t control the ants. (The hotel is in town, off a main drag. We never saw an orchard.) Our room was on the top floor (4th) and needs to be fumigated. I would never stay here again!!!!!

  The name of the game in hotel service comes down to the management and people operating it. Mandi and the group running the Best Western in Keizer, Oregon deserve to be acknowledged and serve as an example of exceptional customer service. I travel for work often and I experience all types of hotels and staff. Everything from the cleanliness and appearance of the building, lobby, and rooms to the warm friendly atmosphere the staff and front desk provide. Mandi, the general manager even went out of her way to contact me MONTHS later and mail me a piece of clothing I left in my room. The vest was probably worth the same amount as the shipping but her effort to provide the best stay will never be forgotten and I will tell everyone about this specific hotel and experience. Stay there!

  Hotel and rooms could be cleaned a bit better. It's in a convenient area close to food but also kind of a rough area. Breakfast was a little small on selection but what they had tasted ok. Front desk was friendly and had average noise for a hotel.
