  Had an incredible stay at Hood River Inn last week. Loved the spacious suite area and gorgeous views right on the river! Service was exemplary, cannot recommend staying here enough. Close to plenty of great places to eat and an easy drive to Mount Hood.

  We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time! My husband loved the hot tubs, and we got in a lovely walk along the water. Great views and a good restaurant, too. Lovely service as well!

  My second stay here and I just felt it was worth posting that this place is a gem. Excellent restaurant, very heated pool that adults could stand to go into in winter months, and the hotel situated along the river make this incredible. A Starbucks and McDonald’s a short walk across the parking lot are handy but we didn’t visit either. We stayed for a ski weekend and will be back for the same type of trip with our 5&9 year old kids.

  The hotel was really nice and well maintained. However the service at the restaurant was horrible. A group of 8 waited for over an hour while we watched everyone else being helped. Spoke with the bar tender on 3 seperate occasions to get an order in. Complained to front desk and was met with an attitude from the bartender after returning to my seat and still no service. After the second complaint I was offered room service at no charge i asked again to verify I would not be recieving a bill. Next day I was billed for room service with added auto gratuity. The food was overpriced for what it was. The front desk was attempting to be helpful, but the supervisor on staff would not come out and the front desk said nothing could be done until managment showed up since we were checking out I was promised a phone call. We had to leave for other arrangements and I was promised a call. No call has been recieved. Have attempted to call the hotel and have had a hard time getting through to someone.

  The view was spectacular and the room was pretty clean. We booked the executive suite and it was very nice, with high ceilings that made the space feel open. The location is next to a gas station and the toll bridge into Washington, but noise was minimal since our suite was farther from the road. A few small things could be improved. The shower head wasn’t very clean, and I would expect more than tiny sample bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for a suite. They do provide a $10 food voucher for the restaurant downstairs, but the service wasn’t great during our first visit. The server seemed uninterested, wouldn’t add a berry syrup garnish to the French toast like shown in guest photos, and they forgot a couple of side items. Our second visit was better. Overall, the view was my favorite part and we still had a very nice stay.
