  The hotel looked quite decent in the photos, especially since we had checked the map in advance and saw that it was only a 13-minute drive to Timberline Lodge Ski Resort. As soon as we entered the hotel, it immediately became clear that the place was extremely dirty. The entire floor around the reception area was filthy, and the whole lobby looked unclean. The receptionist also looked very untidy and spoke unwillingly and in a completely unfriendly manner. It felt as if no one expected or welcomed guests here. I strongly dislike this kind of service. I hate when people work with such an attitude. This hotel should not be part of Best Western. It simply does not match a brand with such a well-known international reputation. Please take a serious look at the condition of your hotel. The room itself was not bad, but overall the entire hotel felt dirty, gloomy, and unpleasant. At 9:17 in the morning there was no coffee available at all. Breakfast was poor, with almost nothing to choose from. The trash can located right outside the front entrance — the main entrance representing the hotel — was overflowing with garbage, and trash was scattered around it as well. Everything felt absolutely unpleasant and disgusting. This hotel is not worth staying at. I haven’t seen such a dirty place in a very long time.

  I have always had good experiences at The Best Western in Government Camp! The rooms are clean, there is a nice hot tub and a good fitness center available. The breakfast is not that great. Other than that, check in is always smooth. The location is great for walking to the Mt. Hood Brewery, and downtown Government Camp for food and drinks!

  Great place to stay and check out Mount Hood. Nice views from rooms. Be prepared for snow and a steep drive if coming from the north east but well worth the Trip

  Checked out today, only complaint was upon check out. The front desk person with purple hair, why work in hospitality industry with an attitude like that. Other than that check in service, room, location and breakfast was amazing.
