  Wonderful place to stay for a visit to the Wallowas! No hotel was opened in the town of Joseph I’m guessing because it is the off-season. Nick helped me in getting a room and appreciated his help. The room was homey feeling, and the breakfast was great!

  Very nice hotel in a great location. The area has fantastic mountain views. There's a horse ranch next to this property! The hotel has an indoor pool, jacuzzi, and tiny sauna. The price is somewhat high, but the amenities are great compared to some of the resorts and hotels in the area. My room was clean, comfortable and bigger than necessary. It should have been a suite as there was room for a sofa and coffee table. Instead, it had a single chair and open space by the window. Some rooms have mountain views and best on the upper floors rather than ground level because cars are parked in front of windows. Breakfast was standard continental but fresh. Coffee in the room was a chef brand ( Wolfgang puck?) And it was surprisingly terrible! Tasted very much like bleached coffee filter. The dining room coffee was much better, thankfully. Also the dining room is really nice with views and fireplace. It was close to Joseph and the lake. Staff was helpful and friendly. You have to drive but there are restaurants and groceries close by. I enjoyed it very much.

  Nice & Newly remodeled, Best Western took over the Eagles View , looks like a brand new hotel inside now.
