Don't believe the 4.4 stars here!
Not originally a Holiday Inn Express, but rebranded from a lower chain and it shows.
Booked the "one bedroom suite" for kicks this trip every place, this was the second worse in a week.
At check-in we were checked in under another reservation, they tried to get me to sign the reservation by folding it to only the signature and nothing else, was meet with a sigh by the desk clerk when I opened it up to read it. Reading it I found out I magically turned into a woman traveling with a dog!
There's no second heat source in the "bedroom" and it's wide open to the other king bed in the room so you can stare at each other while the trucks loudly rumble by.
The room was cold, 55⁰, and with only the one heat source took two hours to heat, which meant the main room was 80⁰ while the "bedroom" was still 63⁰.
Water pressure insanely low, check the video attached. Main room sleeper woken up from 0530 on because this room shares an entry way with a maid closet and they repeatedly slammed the door over and over and over.
Went downstairs for coffee x3, 0645, 0830, and checkout at 0940. Each time coffee pot was empty. Also each time the hot food bins were empty except for the 0830 where ONE PORK SAUSAGE LINK was in one of the only two hot bins. At check-out asked for hot coffee and first was told it would take 10-20 minutes, then was told they didn't offer hot beverage after breakfast anyway.
Chipped enamel on tub, missing doors from furniture, and who puts only one tiny trash bin in a one room suite? The "bedroom" didn't even have a clock radio.
Could not connect the laptop to their Wi-Fi, however could connect phones. The Wi-Fi speed in the "bedroom" dropped from 25 to 1.5 anyhow.
The fingerprints in the pictures were there when we checked in.
Walking across the floor causes the closet door to creak and groan like a cheap horror film, check out the video
Based on this trip, Holiday Inn Express hotels are not worth what they're selling and at this point basically overprice choice hotels run by sketchy individuals who don't follow corporate IHG standards
Pictures and videos don't lie
