  Okay Stay with Great Staff I recently stayed at the Best Western in Woodstock, and it was an okay experience. The rooms weren’t terrible, but could definitely use a more thorough cleaning, as there was quite a bit of dust. The lobby was nice, but the carpets in the hallways could use a good vacuum. Overall, cleanliness could be improved. The pool wasn’t to my liking. It didn’t seem very clean. Breakfast was a letdown with very few options available. What really made the stay decent was the staff. They were super nice and accommodating. Overall, I’d rate my stay three stars. The price is on the cheaper side, but I’ve paid less for better hotels. The friendly staff is definitely a plus, though! Also, if you want soundproof walls, this hotel definitely does not have that.

  Just stayed this past week! We had a room on the bottom floor, both mornings that we were there, there was very loud talking and doors banging in the hallway between 630am/7am! My guess was the staff because that's the only people I could see when I opened the door. Also no hottub and the pool is definitely not kept at a temperature that makes you want to stay and enjoy it very long (to cold). Breakfast were good and room was nice.

  Last night I stayed at the Best Western Plus in Woodstock, Ontario and I am honestly still upset about how I was treated. The front desk woman was extremely rude from the moment I arrived. I was $30 short on my credit card for the deposit and politely asked if I could use my debit card for the deposit — something many hotels have allowed in the past. She refused to make any exception. Then asked multiple times if they would just be willing to refund me my money since they wouldn't allow me to check in without having the deposit and was refused and told that I should have read the fine print online before driving 2 hours to check in! What really crossed the line was that she began talking about me OUT LOUD to another coworker, using profanity while doing so. I could clearly hear her swearing and complaining about me. This was humiliating, degrading, and completely unprofessional. My 10-year-old daughter was standing right beside me and heard everything — including the swearing and negative comments about her mother. No child should have to hear hotel staff speaking like that about their parent. When I asked to speak to the manager, she refused to let me talk to her. Policies are one thing, but there is absolutely NO excuse for treating guests this way, especially in front of a child. The lack of professionalism and basic human decency was shocking. I will never stay at this location again and strongly warn others to think twice before booking here.

  Very clean,hospitality was excellent. I love the fact the pool is open at 7 am. Our room was very clean and comfortable. There was a special added touch when we turned on the television there was a welcome notice with our name on it and explained the amenities. Coffee 24 hours,friendly staff. Very happy with our stay. When we arrived we were greeted in a friendly manner and offered bottle water. It isnta big deal but all these things combined made it a big deal compared to other places. Definately recomend this place.

  I know I’ve already shared not the greatest review on this hotel, but I’ve later discovered something more serious and gross than I thought. I will never trust this Hotel again, because it gave me RINGWORMS!!! This right off the bat tells me that this hotel is not sanitary. Now, if you’re thinking, how do I am so sure this ringworm is from the hotel is because I literally couldn’t have gotten it any other place. I am extremely disappointed and I wanna warn everyone who comes in contact with this hotel. Stay safe!
