  I’m honestly really disappointed with my stay on my birthday on 17th April. The staff interaction wasn’t great to begin with, the black lady at reception rejected apple pay and was insisting to bring physical card where apple pay was approved, adding to that she started lecturing me to bring physical card and got me embarrassed in front of my friends, but the room condition made it much worse. There were spider webs under the window and around the TV cabinet, which already made the place feel neglected. On top of that, I found bugs in the bathtub; that’s just unacceptable. I even took pictures as proof because it was that bad. The furniture is clearly outdated. The TV drawers and other cabinets barely function: opening and closing them is a struggle. It just feels like nothing has been maintained in a long time. What surprised me the most is that basic things weren’t even provided; no tissue papers, no napkins, not even drinking water in the room. I booked a suite expecting a certain level of comfort, but it honestly felt like a cheap 2-star room. Definitely not worth it, and I left very dissatisfied.

  Ask for a room with a view of the Detroit skyline. Anything else is missing out. Staff insisted I get a 1 bed to make it easier on housekeeping despite my request for two beds but otherwise they were accommodating. Bring your own shampoo and body wash.

  Not impressed at all…. Gross dirty room: handprint on headboard, mouldy grout in bathroom and mouldy caulking around tub, stains everywhere, scuffs, grape on the floor … blue stain on white pillow case, Just terribly unclean…. The pool was OK, Hot tub had caution tape around it, the pool room was cold and water was cool, The first time we went, there was dirty towels across a bunch of chairs and the floor, and no fresh or clean towels, It looked like no one had been there to check since the prior day maybe. Told the front desk and they did fill and tidy before we went back $20+ each for classic hotel breakfast we opted to skip as we didn’t realize our was not included in room rate. Also, the restaurant is only open for breakfast I would not return

  We booked the room 301. We didn’t get a confirmation email from them. It came with the extra living space that had a sofa bed that was uncomfortable and another bathroom for our family. It wasn’t very clean, hairs in tub, dirty sheets etc. The one room with the windows was cold and the other room was hot. Also it was noisy most of the night because the elevator was directly across from the room. The toilet ran all night. Light switches were not working. The hot tub wasn’t working . They charge $5 for a tiny bottle of ginger ale or a small bag of chip. The front desk didn’t have change when you buy something from them. Breakfast is available but not included in the price. Not enough towels in the room or at the pool. Not much sleep happened there. It made a long day for everyone who came from lack of sleep. There wasn’t a microwave. Couldn’t see the bridge from the room. It doesn’t look like the photos.

  Had a great experience at Holiday Inn & Suites Windsor (Ambassador Bridge). We had an issue with our reservation, but Pat, the manager, and Justin on staff were incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. They handled everything with care and professionalism, and they really made our stay enjoyable. I was in Windsor for a very important business matter, so this trip meant a lot, and they truly saved me. Their support took a stressful situation and turned it into a very positive experience. The amenities were excellent, the location was very convenient, and the overall stay was comfortable and pleasant. I really appreciate the service we received and would definitely stay here again
