Horrible phone service. I was told multiple prices for the same room & when I talked to a different person about it being a different more expensive price they hung up.

Great Stay at the DoubleTree Windsor — Just One Area to Improve
I recently stayed at the DoubleTree in Windsor for a bachelorette weekend, and overall, I had a really positive experience. I arrived a couple of hours before the official check-in time and truly appreciated that my room was already ready. After a long drive, being able to check in early and rest before the festivities made a huge difference.
The room itself was very clean, modern, and updated — exactly what you hope for in a hotel stay. The bed was comfortable, everything felt well maintained, and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. Throughout my stay, the staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful.
The location is excellent — very central within Windsor and literally steps from the U.S. border. It only took us about 20 minutes to get to Little Caesars Arena, including border crossing time, which was incredibly convenient.
I’m giving four stars instead of five because of the breakfast experience. Our food took over an hour to arrive, and when it finally did, some of it was cold. It was clear the restaurant staff were overwhelmed and doing their best, but management should ensure there is adequate staffing during busy periods to avoid these delays.
Aside from the breakfast issue, the stay was wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again and hope to see improvements in the restaurant service, as everything else about the hotel was excellent.
