  We had a horrible experience here. The room we were given wasn’t cleaned, bed sheets unchanged, blood stains on bed strong cologne smell and visibly noticeable that it had been slept in. We were so disgusted we requested to change rooms. We were storm stayed all roads closed with no other option. There was only one staff member working which is puzzling that if that impedes her ability to do her job (she used this as an excuse) than you would think they would have more than one able body on the shift. She provided us with a different room and upon checking that room was also in the same state but worse with pubic hair on the bed, bugs, and bug guts as well as hairs on the towels in the bathroom and fecal matter in the toilet. She became agitated and advised us that I can assure you they have been cleaned which is obviously an undeniably infuriating situation to be in that the audacity of this woman to gaslight us basically laughing in our faces. Telling us I can assure you meanwhile we are looking right at it and she says “well we can’t keep changing rooms”. It was evident that nothing was going to be done about it as she said we could not change rooms. Perhaps another floor where the same housekeeper hadn’t been cleaning that section would have been suitable. I called her on the phone afterwards from the room and said I thought it was extremely rude that she became agitated and that this was unacceptable and also how she spoke to my elderly father was unacceptable. (Their cameras should be able to show this even if she is lying to her manager and owner which is doubtful as this feels racially charged and extremely prejudice). She said well normally we would change rooms but that’s not going to happen. Naturally after such a disaster I would have thought we would be tripping over apologies from management, but instead got an email not even a returned phone call. Below is the offensive email we received which should have been addressed to me but they cannot even get who their speaking to correct. So essentially refused to admit any wrongdoing and blatantly told bold faced lies to avoid assuming responsibility. This is the most horrendous disgusting hotel. We were obviously targeted by racial discrimination. Because of our ethnicity treated in this way is absolutely shameful. Michelle knows very well that she said to my father and myself standing in the second room that “we cannot keep changing rooms” and furthermore reiterated that on the phone when I called down to the front desk after she left the room. Not only was the state of the room deplorable we were FORCED to stay in those conditions and treated as a nuisance and liars after the fact with no remorse or refund absolute misuse of power we were essentially called liars and mistreated so badly after the fact. I will be telling everyone I know what happened disgusting behaviour racist staff. The way they responded in the email is complete and utter rubbish and not in the least bit truthful. I am furious how dare these people I didn’t think best western would tolerate/condone discrimination like this. They were very proud to dismiss us and offer zero compensation for the sleepless night we endured. Liars who refused to do anything about the deplorable conditions we slept in they should be ashamed! To be treated this way is beyond degrading.

  I stayed there last night. Some friends came to use the pool and we had a blast. My small dog was very happy to be included as well. The hotel being pet friendly is a real bonus! Sherry at the front desk is very attentive and provides great service. Coffee machine is great.

  We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Sherry and all of the staff were excellent from start to finish. We loved the cook-to-order breakfast and could not have been more pleased with the entire experience.

  We visited this hotel for a weekend away and really enjoyed it. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated (in this case, for Christmas). Our room was clean and everything was in a good state of repair. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was perfect! We will certainly return to this hotel!

  We spent a broken 2 week period there, the staff were so friendly and real to us, felt like we were at a friend's house, rooms were clean and the beds were awesome. This is our best experience in the hotel world. If needed to be back it would be a given that we would stay here. Impressed to say the least 😁 oh and the breakfast was very good too!!
