Noel greeted us and provided some background about Legoland, checked in on us and other guests around us throughout our time there, even when they were swamped with March Break. The staff manning the line were friendly and knowledgeable which really helped the kids be patient in line. We spent 4 hours there are could have stayed longer. Wear really comfortable shoes. Also the Cafe is unexpectedly reasonably priced given where it is. Getting Starbucks coffee was unexpected but appreciated.

We visited LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto last weekend with our kids (ages 3), and it was an absolute blast! Located at Vaughan Mills, it's the ultimate indoor LEGO playground with over 12 attractions packed into one spot. The Miniland exhibit blew us away—it's built from more than a million LEGO bricks and recreates Toronto landmarks in incredible detail. The kids loved the Kingdom Quest ride, where you zap trolls to save the princess, and Merlin's Apprentice, pedaling enchanted carts through a magical chamber.

Visited LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto at Vaughan Mills this weekend and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. We first stopped at the retail store to make a return. The store wasn’t busy and we were next in line, but as soon as I mentioned the item was purchased at the LEGO Store Yorkdale, the associate cut me off mid-sentence and told us we had to return it there because they “operate differently,” even though the LEGO website states returns can be done at any LEGO retail store. After putting the item back in the car, we went to the entrance to buy tickets but were immediately stopped and told it was “adults with children only,” before we even had a chance to explain that I was there with my younger cousin who is under 16. For a place that’s supposed to be about fun, creativity, and embracing your inner child, that energy was completely missing. The interactions felt abrupt and unwelcoming, and we ultimately decided to leave. Really disappointing for what should be a fun experience.

Very underwhelming experience, especially if you’ve visited the Florida location before. The difference in quality is very noticeable. We visited this morning. It was my 2-year-old’s first ride ever. I briefly took out my phone to capture a photo of her, and I was loudly yelled at twice over the intercom. It was very clear I was taking a quick picture of my child and not trying to record the ride itself. Unfortunately, what should have been a sweet memory ended up feeling unnecessarily stressful. It really took away from the moment. Drove in from Montreal for this. We won’t be returning. To add to the frustration, several of the iPads in the exhibits say “tap here to learn more,” yet when you tap them… nothing happens. Little things like that make the whole experience feel poorly maintained and disappointing.

We enjoyed our experience inside. I did find the staff wasn't super willing to help during the procurement process of tickets. I asked questions and felt like a bother. I was asking about upsell options and what was included and it was not well explained nor even encouraged. I wish they explained the multiple shows in the theater, that there was sign up for craft sessions etc. As an out of province it wasn't well explained. The VR thing was overrated, we ended up giving away tickets to others who didn't know you had to buy them. The no exit is weird. The sit down area and cafee inside was nice but honestly we had already went and ate in mall because when we asked about tickets no one told us there was a cafe inside. I think also having an option for a discount off a large lego purchase would be a great marketing campaign. Loved the trade idea at the end. The small rides etc are all good but the people letting you in don't share anything with you about where or what your shooting lazer to save the princess....just overall felt like people are there for jobs and zero focus or concern on the customer experience center impact. One exception to that was the gentlemen in the video room passing out glasses and explaining the show. Starbucks has offerings but limited and my wait for 2 cold drinks was over 20 minutes. Kids enjoyed it but the CX from my perspective was not good and you could tell it was not a focus for them. I paid over 200$ for my family of 4 and I feel like the experience was more on April with my expectations for 1/2 that.
