Lovely hotel and staff! Great vibes, nice rooms, and in the heart of the city. It’s really easy to to catch a streetcar or a film at the Tiff Lightbox from here. Plus it’s right next to Chinatown, Kensington, and Queen St.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Revery Toronto Downtown over New Years, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we checked in, we were impressed—we were upgraded to a junior suite that was spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our stay. What truly set this hotel apart was the breakfast restaurant staff and hostess. Every morning, they greeted us with genuine warmth and friendliness that made us feel like valued guests rather than just room numbers. As someone with celiac disease who must eat strictly gluten-free, dining out can often be stressful, but the team here went above and beyond. They were incredibly careful with cross-contamination, knowledgeable about my dietary needs, and still managed to make the experience feel special rather than restrictive. The highlight of my mornings was their gluten-free French toast with fruit—an absolute treat that I rarely get to enjoy at hotels. Beyond the excellent food service, the staff also took the time to offer suggestions for fun activities and things to explore around Toronto, which enhanced our entire visit. I should mention that the staff were remarkably accommodating—they didn’t even bat an eye when I ordered my iced latte every morning despite the fact that it was well below freezing outside. That’s the kind of non-judgmental service everyone appreciates! I would highly recommend the Revery Toronto Downtown to any traveler, but especially those with dietary restrictions. The team here understands that managing dietary needs doesn’t mean sacrificing hospitality or experience—they deliver both very well!

This review is for the fantastic and delicious Christmas latte I had at Muse Lobby Bar inside the Revery Hotel! My friend had a Matcha Latte and I had a Maple Cinnamon Latte and loved it so much! They looked beautiful too. Big thanks to Marvin for the excellent service and friendly chat about the upgrade to the hotel. I also loved the warm ambiance and burgundy colours and lounge area. Very cozy and opulent!

The rooms are excellent! Very spacious, plenty of places to plug in devices, great TV system with streaming options, the room was clean and bright, very nice bathroom, and wonderful to have a Nespresso machine. The hotel lobby and layout are very nice as well, and there are plenty of nearby paid parking options as well as valet parking offered. My only complaint is with the "Peloton studio" as the partnership between Hilton and Peloton is a reason that I prefer Hilton properties. The so-called studio is a small room with two Peloton bikes. One of them was not connecting to the internet properly so could not be used. The other was sporadically disconnecting from internet, but I was able to use it for a two 20 minute classes. Both bikes could use a little maintenance, and both bikes had the pedals swapped out for SPD cleat/toe-clips, which I get having at least one bike with toe-clips for people who don't bring Peloton bike shoes, but I specifically choose Hilton for the Peloton partnership and not being able to use my delta cleat Peloton shoes on the Peloton bike is a little frustrating. As we only stayed one night, this was only a minor annoyance and the quality of the room was well worth the price we paid

They’ve upgraded what was (apparently) a Hilton Garden Inn — but are still struggling. I’ve stayed at the property twice now. They have an amazing staff — absolutely 5 stars on that end — but the “hard” product needs attention. They have a great “soft” product — Love the staff. Great food. Service was perfect without exception. I really want this place to succeed. But it seems like the owner has cut some corners on building maintenance issues — and quality of fixtures — so many things are broken. I got a “Corner Junior Suite” most recently: Take a look at my video. - The lights in my room are flashing on and off at 1am. - The lights in the bathroom are on a timer / sensor - (even in the few suites with a relaxation tub) — so I was left in the dark every 99 seconds. - The HVAC system is very loud. I did not notice it in the regular king room I stayed in, but in the Corner Suite, when it turns on and off, it is enough to wake you up. So many things were overlooked here on the “hard product” side from the developer —- and that’s the stuff that costs real money to fix — not a band-aid. (A $1,000 toilet is great — only if it flushes when it’s supposed to.). There is no desk in any room for a person to comfortably work for more than 30 minutes. (This was true of both the standard room, and the nicest suite — I tried both on separate stays.) I hope Hilton Corporate gives them some consulting on engineering and design changes — because they have a 5-star staff, and a great location. I hoped for better — Both Chase and AMEX have this hotel in their elite category for redemptions — but I would consider this below the standard for a mid-grade business property on the “hard product” certainly not up to the level to be listed on American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts or Chase’s “The Edit” Program.
