Intercontinental Toronto Hotel has the best management and staff of any hotel in Toronto. From the very moment you walk in to this hotel you are greeted by the best front desk staff. David, is amazing- he is always friendly, has wonderful stories to make your stay memorable and provides a joyful and warm interaction from the start. Adriz is kind, and is always there to help. Yuraslav is professional and prompt. All of the front desk staff work hard to ensure that you are happy with the assigned room and your overall stay. The Ambassador front desk is also very professional including Rahman and Alex, they ensure that you get a good room and communicate benefits from the program. The bellmen and doormen, including Nilo and Tawab always greet with a welcoming smile. And, Boris and Anna from the concierge are attentive. The management here is fantastic. Hitesh, Zelaikha, and Ivy, among other management members, make every effort to ensure your stay exceeds expectations and provide wonderful leadership. Club lounge here is amazing, they have breakfast and evening service. All of the lounge attendees are welcoming and work hard to provide a great experience for the guests. Fernando, Malak, and Naz provided a warm welcome and make every effort to meet guests' different requests. Overall, the hotel is clean, if you come during a holiday the decorations in the lobby are beautiful. The location is perfect for a downtown visit, right beside the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, CN Tower and Rogers Centre and is connected to the PATH. Thank you very much to the Intercontinental Toronto Team for being the best hotel in Toronto!

I booked two rooms at the InterContinental Toronto from January 1–2 for a quick city staycation, and it was the perfect way to start the year. From the moment we walked in, the lobby felt beautiful and warm—a welcome escape from the January chill. The check-in process was a breeze, which we really appreciated with the kids in tow. Speaking of the kids, they absolutely loved the pool! The entire hotel was notably clean, and the service was exceptional. Even on our checkout day, the housekeeping staff was incredibly polite, proactively asking if we needed fresh towels or anything else before we headed out. It’s those small touches that make a stay memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Family Stay with a Toddler During New Year’s Eve 2026 We chose Inter Continental Toronto for New Year’s Eve because we have been IHG loyalty members for over 10 years, and the brand is usually a safe and reliable choice when travelling with a toddler. As a newcomer to Toronto, this was our first time experiencing downtown New Year’s Eve fireworks. We planned this stay cation about six months in advance and travelled with our 22-month-old child. Arrival was smooth despite the holiday crowd. Parking signage was clear, valet service was quick, and the bell staff handled luggage and our stroller efficiently. Lobby check-in was busy, so we used the Club Floor, where check-in was much faster. Club access was a great decision for a family stay. It allowed us to dine comfortably without moving between floors, and the lounge felt warm and family-friendly. Food was limited but well prepared, and staff were patient even during peak dinner time. The room was clean and quiet, though slightly small for a toddler. A larger fridge was delivered quickly when we requested one for milk. Service recovery was handled professionally by the front desk, which reinforced the value of IHG loyalty. We were able to see the CN Tower lighting and fireworks from our room, which became a highlight of the evening. Overall, a solid choice for families staying downtown on New Year’s Eve. I would return for PDAC 2025

Location is perfect for Toronto visit! Few minute walk from Union station which takes you directly from Pearson airport. St. Andrew station near by which you can take subway, street cars and buses. Lots of restaurants near by as well. CN tower and Ripley’s aquarium are 2 min or less by walk. For NYE, you can watch CN tower and harbor fireworks from your room (ask for CM tower view). Breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I have been to. Rooms are old and Holiday inn vibe…Condition of room was pretty bad. Metal plates by tv stand falling apart which can be safety hazard for kids or even adults. Daily amenity fees are $25 which is mandatory but you can’t use for alcoholic beverages and it expires everyday. Gym was outdated as well and sauna was barely warm. Location and breakfast are the only things I liked…

The InterContinental, where do I start? From the moment my Lyft driver pulled up in front of the hotel, my jaw dropped in sheer amazement and delight. I don’t get to travel much during the holiday season and this boutique hotel looked liked something straight out of a movie scene. IT WAS SO GORGEOUS!!! The huge Christmas bows on the exterior just screamed Christmas elegance. It was such a pleasant surprise to walk into. Their Christmas teddy bear themed lobby decor was 1000 out of 10. Whoever came up with this concept and brought it to life is a pure genius. No matter your age, it definitely will put a twinkle in your eyes. I was mesmerized and wanted to just sit in the lobby all evening. They also incorporated a Winter Chalet where you can have winter themed drinks and lite bites in the evening (at cost). I came back from my event too late to participate but the drink & food selections looked wonderful., The Room - Located on the 23rd floor it had SPECTACULAR views of the city. I removed a star due to the upgraded room not incorporating universal light switches. There were several lamps and all had to be turned off & on individually and manually, a slight inconvenience when you are in bed and want to hit one convenient switch for all. They also did not have charging ports built in throughout the suite, just one outlet strip on top of the desk. Front desk staff was nice, especially Fernando, he was attentive and accommodating, he definitely made sure all of my needs were met. Room was cleaned properly, and the bathroom amenities included an emergency sewing kit, nice touch. I ordered room service for breakfast and my food came in a timely fashion and was hot. My omelette was okay, I knew I was in Canada but was a tad bit surprised that the only breakfast meat offered was pork/bacon, so I went without any. Overall I’d definitely stay here again & again. You can utilize walkways directly connected to the hotel to get to a few places without having to walk out in the direct cold. This location is everything! I was pleasantly surprised and I will be back!!!
