I stayed at the Hilton Toronto last weekend and I can’t stop thinking about how amazing the experience was.
Peter Chung, the doorman, was the first person I met and he immediately made me feel so welcomed. Check-in was smooth and friendly thanks to Susana Costa and Garrick at the front desk. They were warm and professional, and made everything feel effortless. Daniela Alhanova, the Assistant Front Office Manager, went above and beyond to make sure my stay was perfect.
I also want to recognize Jon Padley for hooking us up with the best stay at the best price. The overall organization and smoothness of the stay reflects strong leadership behind the scenes.
I felt completely safe and comfortable the entire weekend, and that’s thanks to the amazing security team. Hamid Sharif Mohiuddin and Julian Kearney were both extremely professional and reassuring. It’s clear they take their roles seriously, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
The Executive Lounge was another highlight. Elena Amdegiorgis was absolutely wonderful, so kind and attentive. She made the lounge feel personal and welcoming instead of just another hotel space. With complimentary snacks all day long, the BEST cookies I have ever had, amazing evening appetizers and one of the best hotel breakfasts, all with an amazing view of the Toronto skyline.
Dinner on the main floor was incredible. Abhik Saha and Kevin Chui were fantastic servers, attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely friendly. And Chef Joseph, along with the entire culinary team, deserves so much credit. Every dish was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious.
I’ll absolutely be back. Thank you to the entire Hilton Toronto team for such a memorable stay.
I visited this location twice and had a decent experience overall. The only reason to book this location was the heated outdoor pool. The housekeeping was very friendly and kind. Room service isn’t exactly available and they try to charge you for any request you make. Hilton is trying to do a good job at being sustainable, but one thing that stood out like a sore thumb was their usage of plastic bottles. At the entrance, they have a fridge of plastic bottles and you can take up to two complementary bottles per night. For a hotel that’s trying to be sustainable with usage of digital keys and withholding items like toothbrushes and slippers, etc. usage of plastic bottles is two steps back. A water station or glass bottles makes more sense. Apart from this, I had to a weird experience with one of the staff at the entrance. I had a digital key and did not have to check in at customer service and I was re-entering the hotel and this young tall man looked at me and my friend with suspicion and followed us to the Lyft. It took a few minutes for the elevator to arrive, and he waited the entire time. Once the elevator arrived, he entered, waited and watched for me to select my floor, and then exited the lift. This was in the evening around 4 PM and he was with another staff, an older brown man, who was very sweet and professional, unlike his younger counterpart. The second time I visited me and my friend were joining two of our friends were already at the breakfast table and short young lady with black hair stopped us as we were entering. We told her that we were joining our friends and she looked at us awkwardly and did not move and continue blocking us. Another staff, tall South Asian male, sensed to this and told us to join our table. While we were having breakfast, the staff an Asian middle-aged lady asked us for our breakfast vouchers and we mentioned that we forgot it in our room. We all thought that she could have let us finish our breakfast first and then get the vouchers from the customer service. Overall, not a great experience and I will not be visiting this Hilton anymore. I have visited the other Hilton hotels, and I don’t share the same sentiment as the other hotels have better customer service. When we pay a good price for a hotel, such as Hilton, we don’t expect to have such a unsatisfactory experience.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hilton Toronto. I reached out in advance to ask if they could help decorate our room for my boyfriend’s Valentine’s Day and birthday celebration, and they truly went above and beyond.
Check-in was easy and smooth. The baggage attendant was incredibly kind, taking care of my luggage and even making sure I received all my Uber deliveries quickly so everything could be ready on time. That level of attentiveness really helped make the day perfect.
We were also pleasantly surprised to receive our room early — and I never expected we would have a room facing the beautiful CN Tower. The view made the entire experience even more special and romantic.
The concierge delivered the cake, but what truly amazed me was that they prepared not just one, but two cakes — one for Valentine’s Day and one for his birthday — along with a sweet card, lovely decorations, and even a box of macarons. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged and made the celebration feel unforgettable.
The front desk team was also so accommodating, kindly lending me tape and scissors while I was finishing the decorations. Everyone was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful.
A very special thank you to Anastasiia for planning everything and making this celebration so incredibly special. Your effort, care, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We are so grateful and will definitely be back!

Everything about the stay was great. This may also be the cleanest Hilton I've ever stayed in.
The room was well appointed with a small fridge and coffee maker (not a Keurig, which is always nice). The beds were clean and comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was better than expected and included plenty of fresh hot foods and a more Continental selection. The restaurant staff were excellent and provided us some thoughtful recommendations for our visit.
The Front Desk team was very helpful during check-in and when we needed to print some documents. The Bell Desk team was fantastic and a special shout out to Jacob who coordinated our transportation to the airport, provided some great recommendations for our visit and remembered us each time we saw him.
The location is close to all the touristy stuff and near the U of T and plenty of great shops and restaurants.
We would definitely stay here again.
Location is great; however, reception, the rooms and housekeeping need an overhaul.
After check-in with someone who was constantly touching and picking her nose with her thumb and then handling my credit card and ID, I was assigned a room that clearly had not been maintained or well kept (wallpaper was peeling, television was crooked on the TV mount, someone had been sitting on the bed, lamp was unplugged with no outlet in sight, bathroom had been used, toilet water was dirty, paint on the ceiling in the bathroom was cracking). Outside of the room, the entire hallway carpet was visibly dirty with crumbs and remnants of what could have been salt.
I had to ask for another room.
Both the new and old room were not well lit. The majority of light came into the room during the day from the window. The hotel should invest in better quality light bulbs, unless the goal is to be dimly lit.
Additionally, there were some mechanical noises that I heard during the nights; if you aren't a hard sleeper, you may not sleep well.
Bright side: location, clean towels, great water pressure and temperature. Oh - and the TV worked.
