We had a great experience staying here over a weekend recently. We were checked in by Tim who was super friendly and funny, and gave us some cookies. The cookies were delish, we asked Tim for some more later that night and he obliged and then again the next day ;) When we asked for an extra towel, we were helped immediately and same with more bottles of water, which we had asked for over text, when they were asking how our stay was. On top of the excellent service, the rooms were clean and got the job done, the location of the hotel is in a great spot, right downtown, walking distance to multiple subway stations, Eaton centre and Yonge and Dundas. Overall: good stay, no complaints, shout out to Tim :)

Seriously the service is bad. The candy or treat i got after booking the room still not good. Secruity is non existent. Service desk takes forever just to deal with 1 customer. Have a question? Expect to wait for a clear no. Beds are clean. Parking is not great but the price is ok for toronto.

I stayed here the night of October 29th with my son. Upon getting ready for bed, I began to find bugs on the pillows of both beds. I looked though and found 3 more bugs in the sheets of the bed I was sitting on. I phoned the front desk and was switched to another room. I was assured that they would be bringing in a pest control team the next day and that I would be contacted asap once they received a report on the type of bugs. I was never contacted. I was also charged full price for my stay despite this ordeal. I reached out to the hotel twice and was given no information. My husband stays here frequently for work and I was there with my son for a SickKids appointment. If I’m paying over $600 for a night in a hotel I would expect better customer service. We will not be returning.

We hosted our wedding and booked a room block here (I was the bride). For the amount we spent, the experience was full of miscommunications and disappointments. We were given inconsistent information about parking prices, they failed to reseve rooms close enough to each other even when we booked months in advance and made a special request, and no one ever told us breakfast wasn’t included or offered us the option to add it. The biggest letdown, though, was my wedding dinner. I have an allium allergy, which I flagged weeks in advance, and was told the chef would accommodate. Instead, I was served a flavorless unispired plate of tofu and vegetables while everyone else enjoyed a full buffet - on my wedding night. After complaining quite a bit and to different people, I did get served a steak, but the damage was done. I would not recommend this location for events and would not trust them with handling any food restrictions well.
