    My family and I stayed here on the last Saturday before the school winter break ended. We had hoped to have a fun "staycation" for our kids and give them a fun evening and use the amenities available. My kids (4,2 and 8 weeks) awoke from sleep complaining of pain and itchiness to various parts of their body, and when we turned the light on we found bed bugs on both queen beds, the carpet between them, the headboards and the night stand. Additionally, my kids had several bites on their bodies. My wife had to take our vehicle and purchase new clothing for all of us while I gave my kids an extensive bath long after their bedtime. They were confused, exhausted and terrified. We have now had to have our car professionally cleaned which takes numerous days and purchase 3 new car seats, not to mention the emotional and psychological turmoil tous and us and our kids. When I spoke with the hotel manager, they said they had checked the room the next day and were unable to locate any bed bugs (despite bed bug having an extraordinary ability to hide when not feeding at night). In a professional way they basically said they did not believe me. Our family currently has no car, my kids cannot attend school or daycare for a week, and we have spent over $2000 in cleaning and replacing items. The solution that was offered to us was a 10% discount on our room, which borders on being offensive. If you would like to protect the health of your family and avoid having to go through the terrible experience we have had then you should stay somewhere else.

    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had an amazing stay at Best Western over the holidays! The staff were absolutely fantastic—housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, and breakfast staff were all super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. You can really feel how much they care about their guests. The hotel amenities were excellent and everything was clean and well maintained. The location is also a huge plus—so close to Scarborough Town Centre and right off the 401, making it super accessible and convenient. Would 100% stay here again and highly recommend! 🎄✨

    Very disappointing checkout experience On the last day of our stay at Best Western Plus, I briefly stepped outside to drop my wife and returned shortly after. When I came back, I was shocked to find all of our belongings placed outside the room. Some food I had kept to eat was thrown away, and even our toothbrush and toothpaste were discarded. This happened around 9:15 AM, even though the standard checkout time is 11:00 AM. At no point were we informed that we needed to vacate the room earlier, nor were we given any warning or courtesy call. This experience felt extremely disrespectful and stressful, especially on our last day. I expected better professionalism and communication from a hotel of this standard. Unfortunately, this incident left a very negative impression despite the rest of the stay.

    We had a great stay here, pool was clean. The staff were polite. It's in a fairly industrial region so there's not a lot within walking distance. But if you have access to a car there's tons around. I'd stay here again if I was in the area or needed to be.
