  I have stayed at this hotel every time we are in Thunder Bay, which is many times a year. In the past two years it has steadily declined for quality rooms. They are showing significant wear. Tonight takes the cake… the room smells like feet, perhaps hockey bags or maybe just dog smell (and I own and love dogs) we told the front desk, they offered to open our window and spray the room while we go for dinner. Ok, perhaps that will work, nope, feet smell still exists. Bed is lumpy and noisy, cracked sink, chips in the bottom of the tub, ripped wallpaper, blood splattered lamp shade and to think they just increased the price this year by $16/night!! There are newer and recently renovated hotels for less. Time to try something new.

  I would like to express my deepest appreciation to the staff at this hotel. My wife and I stayed here while awaiting the arrival of our baby, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. Wyonna working at the buffet was especially kind. She made sure we always had enough of everything we wanted and checked in on us often. She also got us a lovely gift to welcome our baby home. A million thanks to her There was also a staff member at the front desk who stood out. She had blonde hair, though I didn’t get her name. She was incredibly friendly and always asked how things were going, genuinely checking in with us each time we saw her. While these two staff members stood out, the entire team was incredibly kind and accommodating. These qualities can’t be taught, and the employees here are exemplary in every aspect of their work. Thank you to all of the staff. We will certainly be back

  Excellent staff, wonderful family stay. Room could be fixed up a bit, mould on bathroom ceiling, damaged wallpaper but the hotel is perfect for families. Nice pool and common area.

  Ive been to better hotels, the beds were really stiff. The pool was freezing and boring! Smelt rancid everywhere. I got sleep at least so thanks..

  Great hotel. Great staff , very friendly breakfast lady . Breakfast bar not too bad, good selection . Rooms were clean. Check out was easy. A little far from airport but not horrible .
