The staff were great, as well as the room; which had a great view of the atrium.
The only issue was the door to the room did not shit fully by itself, and had to be pushed closed. Something easily forgotten, and anyone could enter the room.

This is my second time staying here and much worse than the last.
Booking online wasn't working, calling was frustrating and a very drawn out process.
The room is super small. I have to squeeze between the suitcase stand and the wall to get to the bedside, which I can only imagine would be very frustrating for a larger person.
The TV also doesn't work for longer than 4 seconds. It's constantly freezing or sound will stop playing.

Stopped here during a work trip. Compared to other HIE's the building is a bit outdated on the outside, but the interior has been renovated and the rooms were partially updated. There is limited parking with a small lot in front and the hotel is next to an event center. There was a hockey game the night of my stay. It didn't interfere with my experience; although the hotel had staff verifying guests only parked in the lot. There is an add on parking fee which is the first I've experience at HIE in the US or Canada. It was six dollars Canadian plus tax. I was a bit put off by this as the parking is already limited and should just be included with the hotel rate. If the hotel was full, I don't think there would be adequate parking.
The drop off lane could only accommodate one vehicle and guests had to go up about 5 stairs to enter the lobby. There is a narrow ramp for accessibility.
I didn't see a USB charging port near the beds, but always bring my own. Everything was clean and comfortable; staff was courteous and attentive.
There was some noise from other guests; most likely hockey fans; but nothing that kept me from enjoying a good night's sleep.

I booked a room, online, thru “Reservation Desk”, to see Blue Rodeo. Didn’t expect to be right across the street from the venue.was extremely happy, with the level of service, the clean inviting room, and the pool room. Also right across the street from Station Mall. The only thing was, there was no food service within the hotel. Best place to book, when visiting the GFL Gardens!!! Will definitely book again!

We stayed one night on a road trip. It was great having the sauna and hot tub. Location is good close to the shopping centre allowing for a stretch out of the cold. Room was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast with lots of choices.
