  Had such a lovely stay here. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and I really liked that there are so many restaurants nearby — I was even recommended a Thai spot right across the street, which I ended up loving. Also had a really nice conversation with Teris, who made the whole experience feel more personal and welcoming

  I really enjoy staying at this location because of it's convenience to all the major locations. The price is decent considering it has free breakfast, gym and a pool. The front desk staff is really amazing, Olga and Therese are the best people when it comes to hospitality, I remember when Olga has just started, she was learning the ways of the work and now she handles things on her own, I was very happy to see her progress. The housekeeping staff is amazing as well, i do not remember their names, but they do a really amazing job. The only thing that could be improved according to me are the elevators which seem dated and are at times, very noisy. Overall, this is one of the best locations to stay if you're looking for a hotel in Markham.

  I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Markham and had a great experience! Samantha, the manager, was very responsive to our needs and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The room was clean and cozy, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The location was perfect for our needs, with plenty of nearby restaurants and attractions. The staff, including Therese and Walter at the front desk, were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

  I’ve been staying at the Holiday Inn in Richmond Hill on weeknights for a few months now while working in the area, and it’s been great every time. The newly renovated rooms are clean and comfortable, and they have a nice pool and gym to unwind after work. A big thank you to Samantha, she’s always friendly and goes out of her way to make sure my stays go smoothly. I’ll definitely keep coming back and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

  This was our first visit back since the hotel’s refresh, and we have to say—it looks fantastic. The updated design gives the whole place a brighter, more polished feel that we really enjoyed. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff made a strong impression. Everyone was courteous and attentive, and Olga in particular stood out. She walked us through everything clearly during check-in and made the whole process feel easy and relaxed. It’s always nice to be welcomed with that kind of genuine care. Between the updated space and the great service, we came away feeling very happy with our stay. We’d absolutely return and recommend it to others.
