- LMLea MFeb 24, 20265.0Best mid-range hotel I have ever stayed at. Super clean, exceptional customer service, well maintained, amazing pool and hot tub, good breakfast. We stayed in the 2 Queen rm, 3rd floor. Elevator in the lobby and trolleys available for luggage. All the staff went above and beyond. Hazel at the Front Desk was so friendly and helpful. It is obvious that all the staff actually care about offering great service, which is a rarity these days. A coffee vending machine in the lobby serves (free) lattes, cappuccino, flavoured specialty coffees. Breakfast: fruit, bagels/toast, fresh pot of hot oatmeal, yogurt, cream cheese, sausage and egg patties (so you can make a Tims style egg sandwich). The pool is slightly heated and has a deep-end. The hot tub is hot and clean. The entire pool area is super clean and maintained. Chairs and tables available. The change room and shower is clean. No broken tiles or hair or grime that is typical of hotels. Rooms: the bad photos on the website make the rooms seem outdated, but they are exceptionally clean, including the carpets. Our room had a mini-fridge, micowave, Keurig coffee/tea machine in a little kitchenette nook with a counter and cupboard. We were here in the winter, but if we return it would be nice to stay in a room facing the river and lovely park in the back. Thank you, Best Western staff! We highly recommend this hotel.
