- SBS BSep 9, 20255.0I was there for 2 days, as it was work related. Staff at the front desk very polite and courteous. Hotel is clean and the food that was provided in the AM is amazing. Also, the staff that were taking care of the customers in the dining area are so nice and friendly. My room was neat, clean and , actually smelled clean! Bed was comfortable. AC worked as it should. The indoor pool was the highlight for me🙂. H2o is just the right temperature, and towels provided. There is a small exercise room as well. It's expensive, as 2 nights stay was almost 500 dollars, but the employer paid for this. Television has all the basic channels and more. Internet is fast and secure with no lagging or spinning trying to connect. Main roads are about 10 minute drive away from the hotel for restaurants, shopping, etc. If I was up that way again on my own time, I would not hesitate to stay there again. This is my honest opinion and review. Well done Holiday Inn Express in Pembroke Ontario.

My only issue was that I was not informed by the staff checking me in, or in the booking details that breakfast was only until 10am. It is my understanding that most hotels offer breakfast until check out, so it was pretty disappointing to only find out as I was checking out just after 10am that breakfast was already done. It would be helpful if this information was provided in a confirmation email or the booking details.
