  Front desk was AMAZING!!! I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this was by far the friendliest service I've ever received. We were there for a volleyball tournament.

  Nice rooms very hospitable to our hockey team, like the rule about no mini sticks. Unsure if the cold hallways are a strategy but they work :)

  The staff are phenomenal! From the moment you are greeted, so personable and caring. A shout out to all of you, Thank you for taking such good care of us! I was a little worried as we walked to our room because our neighbours were quite loud but the moment we walked in the room and closed the door all sound ceased to exist outside of the room. We couldn't hear them at all! I really liked that you had different options available for breakfast. Also, quite a selection for the "free" menu. We will definitely be back, a new favourite stop for us for sure 👌

  WARNING*: The ceilings are very low, if you’re over 6 foot you’re gonna absolutely feel claustrophobic here. Stay away: This hotel looks like it was built as a pre-fabricated unit and assembled on site. The windows do not open, besides not being able to get fresh air that is also a no emergency exit possible safety hazard that probably would not be allowed in other Jurisdictions. The heating and cooling system is antiquated and noisy. Moisture buildup on the interior windows tells me mold is likely a constant problem here. We stayed here and part because of the advertised hot tub and pool and sauna and really, don’t let that sway you. The hot tub was not very hot and the jets not working. The sauna was downstairs in a fitness area. My sweetheart is sensitive to mold and feels sick; after reading other reviews about the pool, I am not surprised. The hallways were noisy with kids running up and down, and drunken parents being loud late into the night. I am all for free range play, but the doors are not anywhere near soundproof. if I was best Western, I would improve upon the situation… by bulldozing the entire thing and building an actual decent safe healthy hotel. On a positive side, the hotel staff were very nice and friendly and I appreciate them. None this is their fault. (* you never really want to do business with a place where the review starts with the word warning, right?)

  We are getting ready to leave right now , paying extra for a late check out. For a good part of the night there were children running up and down the hallway and grown men yelling to each other to communicate. I have CPTSD and this has been a terrible experience. I haven’t slept well and I have a bad headache now. As of five minutes ago , children were firing nerf darts at our entry door to the hotel room. I would like to be contacted on behalf of Best Western to see what can be done for this negative experience. I was hoping to have a relaxing evening and get a good nights sleep. I’m hoping for a partial or full refund as this has been a very upsetting experience and I have to drive back to Toronto with limited sleep.
