She helped us with everything we needed and explained things clearly, which made our stay easy and stress-free. Her positive attitude and kindness really stood out. I called to inquire about canceling two rooms and was told about the cancellation policy. I specifically asked them to hold off while I figured out other plans. Later, when I called back to inquire about rebooking for another date, I was shocked to learn the manager had already instructed staff to cancel my rooms and charge my card two cancellation fees—without my consent. This was a booking for work through a large organization, so clear communication was critical. Instead, I spent days waiting for someone to call me back, made numerous follow-up calls, and only reached a manager after several days. When I finally spoke to the manager, she kept repeating “it’s policy,” while I reminded her repeatedly that I never requested my rooms be canceled. Thankfully, I didn’t show up that day because they had canceled my reservation without notifying me. The manager promised to call me back in two days. It has now been two weeks, and I have heard nothing. They have not picked up my calls, and today the charges are on my card—yet I have no receipt explaining what these charges are for. This entire experience shows a complete lack of communication, accountability, and respect for customers. I will not be booking here again and strongly caution others—especially organizations—to confirm everything in writing before trusting this staff and this hotel.
