  Me and my family came and stayed for 2 nights NEVER came and cleaned nothing. My husband had to go and get our towels. NEVER coming back.

  Rooms: Stayed in a king standard on the 8th floor. This room was at the corner and had a nice view of parliament. Room was very well kept almost seemed new. Very clean and orderly. Enjoyable to come back to after a night out. One side of the bed had charging ports that did not work. Breakfast: Good standard holiday inn breakfast, it was buffet style. They had the typical eggs/omelette/sausage/beans. Lots of toast/bagels/pancake machine/some baked goods like muffins and cinnamon rolls. Fruit and yogurts. Plus the juices/water, and cereal. Pool: Went to the pool lots of rowdy families constantly. They drank alcohol by the pools while their young kids screamed and dove/cannonballed in. (All against the stated rules.) There was also often double the amount of total occupants in the pool as well as many young kids without adults present, pretty unenjoyable for that reason. Should be some precaution in place to ensure more safety. Pool was very scuzzy and green looking almost like it was unclean. Wouldn’t recommend as it’s so small and shallow too. Area: If you plan to just uber/drive out of the hotel it is fine and convenient to centre town but I would not recommend walking around the area outside the hotel even just across the street or around the corner. Lots of sketchy people and abandoned/vandalized buildings. There’s a shelter and safe injection site very close by. Staff: Did not deal with staff much but when I checked in lines were overly long. As well as when we needed a shaving kit, had to get redressed and go down and get it, typically the other holiday inn’s would send it up with someone so that it’s less inconvenient. (Something to keep in mind if you forget anything). Building: Overall the lobby/eating area seemed fine but way too many rowdy kid and adults. This made it stressful to go down into shared areas included the pool as mentioned above. At one point when going out around 10PM, I went down to the lobby there was what seemed like about 40 people, kids and adults and they had all their stuff spread out for kid activities like colouring but most kids opted to run up and down the halls and lobby screaming while adults sat ignoring and chatting. This happened more than once.

  My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 10 days, and one thing that really disappointed us was the TV. In today’s world, it’s surprising that a hotel still has outdated, non-smart TVs without access to streaming services. After a long day, we were looking forward to relaxing and watching movies, but that wasn’t possible. For the price and length of our stay, this felt like a basic expectation that was missing. I hope the hotel takes this feedback into consideration and upgrades the TVs to improve the guest experience.

  Had a good experience. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed and linens were in great condition, had a microwave and a Keurig machine. Free breakfast was alright, both hot and cold options, eggswere not great but otherwise good. I've had worse for sure. Automatic pancake machine was a treat. Poll was nice, 24/7 gym was a bonus. Location is pretty good, close to the Byward Market are and easy access to main road for Ottawa and Gatineau areas. Spme of the lcoal atea seemed a little sketchy so Od be careful at night. Parking ia tight, would recommend larger trucks/SUVs parl elsewhere. Saw a Ram 2500 struggle tp navigate the ramp, let alone a parking spot. Staff were good, friendly and helpful. Would stay here again for sure

  Bonne hôtel. Bon prix Un vrais 3.5-4 étoiles Mon seul point négatif est le bruit ! Entre 3 axes routiers et ont entend un peut trop les camions... Déjeuner buffets excellent avec bon choix variés. Literie douce et lit très confortable ! Très bien situé à proximité de beaucoup d'attraction marcher et musée.
