I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was superb! I booked a suite, and it truly gave a luxury feeling. It is honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Canada. The ambiance, comfort, and overall experience were excellent.
However, I would like to suggest a few improvements:
1. TV Upgrade Needed
The TVs in the rooms feel outdated. They do not have Netflix or newer streaming apps. Considering the hotel’s modern and luxurious ambiance, upgrading the TVs would really enhance the guest experience. Most guests expect access to streaming platforms for movies and shows.
2. Parking Concerns
I understand the hotel does not own the parking lot, but charging $25 per day for parking—even after booking two suites—felt inconvenient. Complimentary parking for guests would make the stay more comfortable. Additionally, there are vehicle size limits. My pickup truck did not fit, so I had to park outside overnight, which was stressful.
3. Breakfast Variety
During my stay, the breakfast menu was the same for two days. I’m not sure if it’s always the same, but adding more variety would definitely improve the experience.
Overall, this hotel has great potential to be one of the best options. With a few improvements in these areas, it would be absolutely outstanding. I would still recommend it for the luxury feel and overall quality.

Staff were helpful. For almost $300 a night, the old TV without casting option is not what you hope for. Overall some building and room features are not ideal, like for a 1 bdrm suite with a sofa bed outside the bedroom, the washroom should be in the shared space not inside bdrm! + the swimming pool should have showers?

Location was very convenient for enjoying the Rideau Canal Skateway, appreciating the beautiful architecture around Parliament, great lunch and dinner options. Kids really appreciated the pool and breakfast, as well as the comfy sofa bed. The bath products were a really nice touch. And Dyson was exceptional at the front desk - full of information, going above and beyond with requests and tips. He made our stay truly wonderful.

This is the ultimate family hotel - huge bedroom suites with a pullout couch in the living room and dining table complete with a full fridge dishwasher and kitchen. Plus free breakfast and an indoor pool! This is THE place we try to stay at every time we visit Ottawa. Great staff too. Thank you!!!

The service especially at the restaurant was just very subpar. The server was quite rude and argued with me about an improperly cooked meal.
The rooms are fine though and the appliances worked so that was good.
Overall the place felt understaffed. I would recommend going somewhere else if you want better service. Our entire stay had us feeling like we were getting in the way for being there.
At this price point please do yourself a favour and go elsewhere. If you must stay here just expect a decent room and minimal service.
