I recently had the pleasure of staying at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Downtown Ottawa, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've had at a hotel. From the moment I checked in until my departure, I was met with exceptional service that truly made my stay memorable.
The Front Desk team, particularly Shube and Pierre, went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and comfortable. Their friendliness and professionalism set a positive tone for my entire visit. When I had questions or needed assistance, they were always ready to help with a smile.
The room itself was immaculate. It was not only clean but also thoughtfully arranged, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I appreciated the attention to detail, which made me feel right at home.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. Each morning, I looked forward to the delicious spread that included a variety of fresh options. The quality and taste were fantastic, providing a great start to my day.
I also want to extend my gratitude to Igor from maintenance. After reporting a minor accident that caused a little damage in my room, Igor & Pierre handled the situation with remarkable professionalism. He was prompt in addressing the issue and worked quickly to resolve it without any disruption to my stay. I truly appreciated his calm demeanor and efficiency.
Overall, my experience at Homewood Suites by Hilton Downtown Ottawa was outstanding. I can't thank Shube, Pierre, Igor, and the rest of the team enough for their dedication to providing such excellent service. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ottawa, and I look forward to returning in the future! 😊

The hotel is indicated on its website as a 4-stars hotel; it's realistically rather a 3 stars.
Positive:
- Central location
- Underground parking (at extra cost)
- Friendly staff, although forgetful and not very thorough
Negative:
- We asked at check-in at around 17:00 to have the sofa-bed prepared for our 4 yo child; when we returned from dinner at 21:30, it wasn't done, which left us in an unconfortable situation as our child fell asleep in the car and we couldnt' put him directly to bed.
- Breakfast: almost all the tables were dirty when we arrived for breakfast and I had to ask some of the staff to clean them. Only our table was however cleaned.

I wanted to take a moment to share this feedback, as Mr. Noah Diem went above and beyond in addressing an issue I experienced with breakfast. He handled the situation in an exceptional and professional manner. His level of customer service truly stood out and should be a standard for others to follow. Because of Noah’s outstanding service, I will confidently choose to stay here again. Thank you, Noah.

Stayed for two nights between Xmas and New Year. Great location and helpful staff. Having a coin operated laundry was so helpful, $5 a wash and free dryers. The breakfast was a bit of a nightmare, went down at 0900 both days and had a 15-20 minute wait for a table, once we did get a table a lot of the food and drink options were awaiting replenishment. I expect this would be less of an issue outside of holiday season however. Staff at the front desk were very helpful, the pool area is a decent size, although the pool itself, while heated was a little on the colder side, not uncomfortable though.
