Trusting that, we left our work tools locked in our truck overnight. By the morning, someone had broken in and stolen everything. This was such a shame on the hotel as we later found out the parking lot is *not* actually secure, and we were never informed of that. If we had known, we would have taken our tools inside or arranged something else. It was an entirely avoidable loss if we had been given the correct information.

My husband refilled his water bottle multiple times during our stay and made sure to tell everyone—and I mean everyone—how good it was, LOL! The location is great, with a huge two-story mall right across the street. Parking is private, monitored, and free, with plenty of plug-ins for electric cars.

Eddy at front desk talked to Expedia multiple times to help me cancel my wrong booking, and get my money back. I feel so grateful because not every hotel can do the same. On top of amazing staff, their room is very clean, the location is convenient, parking is free, food at restaurant is delicious. I’m looking forward to coming back soon. Li
- ADATL DoyleOct 28, 20251.0I am feeling very frustrated with this hotel. I recently booked a 5 night stay for my husband (who is military) who had to travel to Ottawa for work. I searched and searched for the actual number to the actual hotel. When I finally found what appeared to be said number, I called to book and even asked the receptionist if I had the correct number/location to which he said I did. I explained my husband was military and the guy on the phone told me I would get the military rate. He also said that a complimentary breakfast was included. Fast forward to when my husband checks in...he asks them to confirm the military rate to which they reply that it was booked with Expedia(it wasn't) and there is no complimentary breakfast. I am therefore left to assume: 1. The person I spoke to lied (allegedly) 2. The hotel deliberately and deceptively routes calls through 3rd party actors to avoid giving discounts to Canadian Forces members et al. (Allegedly) 3. Holiday Inn intentionally takes advantage of consumers. (Allegedly) I emphatically discourage people from staying at the hotel, especially CAF members.
